  • They are SO fast and creepy!

  • Game over man, Game OOOver!

  • When i first saw this video i was like: Jesus! Thats one huge spider! Then you put your finger next to it and i was like: Oh.. o.o

  • I think spiders are cuties, and laughed when the music came on. Probably not a wolf spider though, the leg/body ratio is off.

  • music is appropriate, spiders are brutal :)

  • shit thats creeepy

  • That does NOT look like a wolf spider. They are usually not that tall.

  • another 14 year old who thinks he has good taste in music.why dont you try and listen to johnny cash or more specifically 'you know my name' by chris cornell. infact go to leximegan01's channel and sub.

  • TEGENARIA ATRICA - MALE Wonderful exemplar!!!

  • those things can get huge, we get a lot of those in our laundry room.....FUCK THAT

  • It's not a wolf spider. It's an araneomorph funnel web (not to be confused with the Australian funnel-webs which are tarantulas of the sub-family Mygalomorphae), probably a Tegenaria Domestica or T. Gigantia judging by appearance. Anyone could have told you that. Yes, the music is truly awful.

  • I forgot to mention, it's a male. That's blindingly obvious looking at the enlarged nodules on the pedipalps.

  • Where is your God now?

  • I fucking HATE these spiders, but they're not wolf spiders. They;re a species of giant house spider that was introduced to the lower mainland. They're not native, kill them all. From wikipedia "The Giant house spider is indigenous to north western Europe. However, it was unwittingly introduced to the Pacific Northwest of North America circa 1900 due to human activity and strongly increased in numbers for the last decade." KILL THEM ALL. Fucking spiders..

  • of all the music in the world-please-what is this crap?

  • not a wolf spider. more dangerous

  • I believe that's a brown recluse bro.

  • any and every spider i see in my house only has one name! DEAD SPIDER!

  • Hey, I too live in BC and did a lot of research on what I too thought was very large wolf spiders. It turns out these enormous suckers are actually giant house spiders and eat the ones you don't want in your house :)

We had so many in our basement suite in this one house. We regularly saw 3 inchers in there. I wasn't a big fan, especially since I have a little boy. After learning more about them; however, I wasn't so worried at least. I just had to get over my fear.

  • You know, there's no reason at all to think that's a wolf spider.

  • that's not a wolf spider.

  • The Music is perfect Fuck you hippie fucks!!

  • I dont think that is a wolf spider. I think its a Funnel Web Spider

  • i would have shit my pants

  • I hate spiders! why am i watching this!

  • The terrible music totally ruined this.

  • @Kailaa3 No, wolf spiders just sound like that.

  • @Kailaa3

    Isn't terrible music!

  • @Kailaa3 Wrong that big monster with attitude wearing boots and carrying that rifle spoilt it

  • HATE the music!

  • shitty music

  • Omg ewww step on it!!

  • KISS IT WITH FIRE

  • They bite?

  • One of them were in my pool

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE

  • kiss it

  • NUKE IT FROM ORBIT

  • My teachers grandpa hit one with a newspaper andd babys exploded every where so if you go to is kitchen you will see 1000 dots every where.

  • @powerofsonic True

I did that once & dots were moving all over the floor I got a light & sure enough it was her babies.

    I read they are poisonous.

  • woooooooooooow someone with a good taste in music... good job

  • No wolfspider, no huntsman, it's just a house spider.

  • Cool song

  • Can you say how big was it? In cm.?

  • how the fuck do you even kill that with a knife???

  • It's Cardinal Spider.

  • Sorry, that is not a wolf. Cant' tell what it is because it is too fuzzy, but it comes across as a Funnel Web Spider

  • ear rape.

    gay ass death metal music.

  • i have eaten a few of those i found in the house

  • Respond to this video...

  • Common House Spider.

  • Good thing thats not a brown recluse.

  • you can tell from the very beginning thats not a wolf spider, wolfs have thicker and shorter legs and they run waay faster than that.

  • @mothrabattra I'd say it's a huntsman

  • @WonkyTonkBotty that's not a huntsman

  • IN THE DESC HE SAYS HD CAM LOL YEAH RIGHT

  • Sry,but that isnt a wolf spider.

  • Yo i loved how the camra was fallowing it then the spider got traped

  • i had two the size of that one in my bathroom at ONCE. Was kinda creepy, but spiders are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • A wolf spider will not cause your arm to swell up. A black widow, a brown recluse or even a tarantula will cause that kind of reaction. There is an imported spider that looks like the Wolf Spider and it is dangerous.

    Brazilian Wandering Spider:

Here is a link where one can read up on spiders and their bites and their effects.you

  • it looks like a big ass hobo spider

  • dude thats a daddy long leg

  • damn nature u scary!

  • @MegaBear1990 you are the 999999th person on youtube to use that joke. get original, would you please

  • @knoxklay11 you are the 999999th person to nerd rage about it. OWNED!! BURNN!!!!

  • dude back in september i got bit by a big ass wolf spider on my elbow and it swelled for like a fukin week. i totally respect the spider but holy shit its bite hurts

  • ew my basement has them, its unfinished only got down there to do laundry lmao.

  • man this spider was running thru my carpet then went on the curtains just sitting in 1 spot for hours wat should i do?

  • A few thoughts.... 1st- that's not a Wolf Spider- I've seen a few hundred or so- I live in the woods... 2nd- If it was a Wolf, it probably would have bitten you- happened to me, and it HURTS!!!!!

  • @MrBeavisBeavis It's not a wolf spider, it looks more like a nursery web spider to me, given the really long legs. But wolf spiders rarely bite, I handle wild ones all the time.

  • lmao i thought it was huge until you put your finger up to it.

  • kill it allready

  • That spider ran fast. Was it speed up or.. Lol nice catch dude was incredible (=

  • you're close-up in da beggining makes the spider look hella big!!!

  • @AgentTBaggs the spider IS big !!!

  • the music actually went well with it, the bit where the spider is running across the floor

  • that is scary! i hate spider

  • Its NOT a wolf spider!!! Its tegenaria sp.

  • LoL wth the music LoL

  • yeesh giant spider yikes 8O

  • Johndhann is closest. It's Tegenaria alright, but I don't think domestica Looks to me like Tegenaria duellica, the Giant House Spider. Very long legs, fast runner. Not a Wolf Spider, although it does look a little like one.

  • i live in rockford illinois. i saw one of those in a parking lot today

  • That spider's like "Fuck this man!"

  • Had one in a finished room down in the basement when I was 14 in '96. It was my mother's bedroom and nobody......NOBODY.........Has a fear of spiders the way she does, When she had me look at it, it was on the wall. It looked like a starfish because it looked as though it only had four very thick legs. Each set of two legs were glued together. Atleast that is what it had looked like.

  • ha, i caught one of those things crawling up my leg. obviously not something you want to find there

  • i bet the person recording it was like AAAAAAAAAH ITS CHASING ME, Y MEEEEEE

  • That's a house spider (Tegenaria domestica), NOT a wolf spider.

  • i found one of these underneath by pillow one day. i look away for a second and it's gone. fucking thing is fast.

  • if i was there i would grab a chair and stand on it then scream as loud as i could untill some 1 came 2 help

  • i think thats just a house spider

  • Ooooo, my skin is crawling!

  • fuck spiders! Kill it with fire :o

  • nice shot of it running

  • hehe that thing is tiny. you should come to sc where we have wolf spiders the size of tarantulas.

  • Damn I hate Wolf Spiders. I've found 2 big ones in my house in the past 3 days. First one was just walking across my tile floor at night, and the 2nd was in my kitchen sink. That scared the shit out of me! I'm starting to clear out dishes, then when I pick up a bowl in the sink, a big ass Wolf Spider starts crawling around.

  • absolutely DISGUSTING

  • lol you should have stepped on it when it was running away

  • these spiders right here are everywhere in my backyard, im in southfield michigan.... like 2 weeks ago one almost fell on me at the door one night...

  • Damn nature! You scary!

  • ihhh where was that? in America? I never go back to america!

  • ewww I hate spiders once I was in my old house and these 2 huge spiders came out of nowhere and I think they were wolf spiders thank god they ain't dangerous(:

  • tht thing kinda scares me......

  • DUDEEEEEEEE DONT POKE ITTTT.Its like,Yo,imma take a nap here behind ur couch,if i get pissed off, imma bite chu NYAHA

  • Holy Crap! That is damn scuzzy

  • Holy FUCK!!!! that thing is huge, ugly, disgusting and every other word that has a negative meaning. FFS i'd need a shotgun to take that son of a bitch out.

  • Damn look at those fangs lol its definatel;y a wolf spider i saw a huge black one in my room, freaked me out....i hate spiders but hate killing them

  • That Is A Fuhking huge spider!

  • WTF!!!!!!

  • AHHH!! I AM ARACHNOPHOBIC!!!

  • uhh, thats a giant house spider, not a wolf spider

  • Too scary to watch more than 3 seconds... just lookin at em scares me enough without havin to listen to freaky music as well....

  • Yes, thanks for sharing. I recently had a spider in my bedroom.

It's hard to tell if it's a hobo or Wolf spider though.

But as you said MeanMike "Hobo's stick to floor areas" and mine was really high up.

    That information was really usefull.

  • wow, it looks angry lol

  • That was an epic vid. However, what disturbs me is the fact that there are people who do not realize that the spider is fake and is only moving because of stop motion animation. It it is also most certainly not a wolf spider.

  • @AyumuKasuga47 ...... im not even gonna say wat i was gonna, because.... yea, your sad...

  • @C0M1C03 Crap, I commented on the wrong vid.The vid I was trying to post this on was of a blue toy spider attacking lego figures. And people were saying it looked like a wolf spider and reacting to the vid as if the spider was real. But the spider in this vid IS real, but the one in the other was certainly not. I have no idea how the comment I intended for that video ended up here...Unless it has something to do with using an Itouch to comment on youtube.

  • @AyumuKasuga47 yeeeeah, that could probably be the reason lol

  • wow ......

  • Looks like a Tegenaria sp., not a Lycosa

  • I use to have these bastards in my room, ALWAYS SPOTTED IN THE CORNER OF THE WALL!!!...AAAAAAHH!!. kill it,,,scary! omg

  • beautiful.

  • they should of had some wolfmother playing in the background hahaha

  • It's definetely a wolf spider because there are many different kinds of wolf spiders. This type kinda looks like a giant recluse but too big to be a recluse.

  • that's not a huge wolf spider at all!

it's about half the size it can get up to be.

maybe even less than half the size.

I've had a couple of these in my house that were a whole lot bigger than that one, they're lazy spiders to they don't move much, the biggest one in my house was about 2 inches long without counting it's legs :D

according to Wikipedia that's as big as they get :D

  • 2 inches!?!?!? That's like the size of my thumb!!!

  • why yes it probably is though your thumb is probably larger than exactly 2 inches, even mine is :P

I was joking about the not counting the legs part btw ;)

just trying to scare people :)

If people actually LOOKED THINGS UP by GOOGLE SEARCHING THEM or WIKIPEDIA SEARCHING THEM maybe there wouldn't be so many dumb questions/statements. :P

  • one of these was walking by my leg (in Indiana) and i had my mom come over and kill it! XD!

  • @spartandude1443 dude... thats not cool... nnot cool at all, you cant just kill shit because it exists. just because you dont understand.

im sscared of spiders but recently ive been trying to get over that by watching youtube videos and i have grown immune to them in the last week. i love them, please dont hurt any more of them x

  • looks like hes been a closet for a awhile

with my luck i proably think hes dead =/

  • ahhhhh!! oh my god!

  • caught one of these in my apartment last year and put it in a tupperware container and fed it yellow jackets. This spider is a wicked killer and kills yellow jackets in like 5 seconds. It was awesome to watch

  • I have 6 spiders in my house. They eat all the flies, mosquitoes, and other bugs. They keep my house clean.

  • Hey! Could you tell me what state are you in...In Chicago, we don't have them (Thank God)!

  • thats a fkin brown recluse!!!!!! omfg

  • brown recluse spiders are so much smaller than that

  • yea lol that is a bit big for a BR

  • thetrees says that a fake spider and anyways a wolf spider is way hairyer

  • lol.

  • I don't think that's a wolf spider.

  • not wolf spider it is a giant daddy long legs

  • That is NOT a daddy long legs.

Its a hobo spider. Pedipalps are the give-away.

    T. agrestis

  • we've caught a few of these here in arizona. no they're not poisonus (well... not enough to matter) i'd like to gather up a few hundred and pull a prank on my brother with them but meh.

    nice vid ^.^

  • i thouhgt it was fake in the start but it was real

  • listen i dont mind spiders but anything bigger than you thumb hunt it down and kill its nest drive that bitch out becouse when or if i move to the usa or OZ ill be hunting every night befor ill go to bed and rad the house every two weeks

  • It is pretty easy to kill these, but the bad thing is that they hold their babies on their bodies or in egg sacs on their bodies. If you grab it with a tissue or something, all of the baby spides will release and go all over you. I've heard this happens when one drops from a distance, too.

  • now way that means for me a baseball bat with rad on the end of it :P

  • I just electrocuted one of those mother hubbards with my bug killer thing - that looks a bit like a tennis racquet. Spidey didn't do much top spin tonight..

  • I did that onece... but my best remberance with the enace racte thing was when I grbbed it to play tennis(while it was on) and when My lil sis touched it!XD

  • Definitely a Giant House Spider. These things are awesome because they keep out other spiders, don't spin giant webs, and kill a ton of bugs.

  • we have Hobos and Wolfs in our house. Lots of em. You can tell the wolfs because they actually climb up quite high, whereas the hobo's stick to the floor areas. Worse in fall when they all want to move in! Small spiders with webs catch them and eat them though haha

  • @MeanMike7 LOL

  • @MeanMike7 I thought you were making jokes about hobos being in your house and spiders eating them.... :( turns out you wernt

  • looks more like a house spider. I see those all the time

  • The music theme is totally perfect, especially 1:25 to 1:35

  • This is not a wolf spider.

I've studied spiders a little last summer and i'm sure it's not a wolf. Those super long legs make me think it 's probably a Tegenaria Gigantica or more commonly called Giant house spiders lol. They are from the same family as Hobo spiders but much less venomous.

  • that is not a hd cam

  • Wolf spiders may be poisinenis, but they're definitely not poisonous.

  • Are wolf spider poisinenis? We have three that decied to make a nest in our home and my brother seems to think there poinsines.

  • no they are not. but the bites do hurt a lot.

  • wolf spiders dont' live indoors.

and this is NOT a wolf spider.

very likely, as someone else said, a european house spider (aka barn spider). fairly large indoor spider and quite a bit more dangerous then a wolf spider, to human that is.

  • lmao that motherfucker crawls pretty fast!

One a side note, they make pretty cool pets. Caught one that was nearly an infant, been feeding it for about 9 months. Shed its skin 3 times and now it's huge! Just like the video...

  • That would so meet the bottom of my shoe quick!!!

  • glad you didn't kill it, much respect for that, spiders are cool.

  • Came face to face with one of those gigantic hairy bastards in my house in England. That's the risk you take when you live in a port city that imports fruit.

  • I like the Metal music more than the spider.Who are these guys?

  • That is so gross.

  • When I was a manager at a store in the mall, one of these hideous things crawled onto my POS one day. I was so terrified, I called 911, thinking it was a trantula.

  • OMG!!!! do wolf spiders live in MIchigan??????!!!!! lol

  • OH sry my bad, wolf spiders are lycosas! i mistok it with the braziliam phoneutria nigrivinter! THATS the true dangerous! sry! ^^ take a look at google a tipe Phounetria Nigriventer!

  • Ya know I don't think that's a wolf spider, Its legs don't look right, neither does its color pattern... go to the Wikipedia page of wolf spiders and you will see what I mean, the pictures look nothing like that one.

  • Wolf spider is a family ranging 50 or so genera and each of those genera has a few species

So when people say 'wolf spider' there are a whole bunch of spiders that fall in that category

Go to google images and search 'wolf spider' you will see how many different ones there are

  • yeah that's not a wolf spider, i can't really identify the species but it's not w wolf spider

  • this spider is not dangerous!! They are all over the place in BC.. This is not a hobo spider, it is a common BC wolf spider and NON harmful to humans. Youd also have to do alot to even get the thing to bite and if it did, likely its fangs wouldnt even penetrate the skin.

This is NOT a hobo spider

This is NOT a brown recluse

If these things were posionous Id have died along time ago seeing as how they come into the house by the dozens in fall.

  • @MeanMike7

I don't think this is a Wolf Spider....at all. This thing is WAAAAY different looking from any Wolf Spider I've ever seen. I'd nearly guarantee this is a Hobo.

Wolf Spider's have much longer/wider abdomens and thicker legs. Hobo's have small bodies and large long legs, and large pedipalps.

  • @MeanMike7 By the dozen? Where do you live?! I found 1 the other day and FREAKED out lol

  • take kare, blackwidow spider is the most poisonly spider in the world, but the second is the wolf spider, and is too much coincidency becuz she's the mos DANGEROUS spider, hahahahah, keep playing a until she jump on your face and bite, then u have 1 hour to go to the hospital until ur dead! awsome hun? ^^ enjoy it!
