  • Hey, Kenny.

  • VERY GOOD 209

  • add some [mechanical] sound for when it rotates and/or moves around, to add to the realism!

  • Is that a real ED-209???? :S

  • Why is it whispering and looking around like it was ashamed?

  • XD Very nice guard dog(If you seen Robocop 3, you'd get that joke)

  • @Jarock316 He'll be as loyal as a puppy! :D

  • NICE!

  • I think it looks very realistic!!! I want to do this with 3DS MAX but I dont know what I'm doing so its hard for me.. main problem I am having right now is how to light it. Only thing about yours is I am not sure that ED is that big.

  • @cottonproductions you could try using practical effects, puppets, and stop-motion (like they did in the real movie) . Not everything has to be C.G.

  • @maxtheaxeiswax You need a lot of skill to do that properly, especially the modeling. There is a good kit of ED-209, but it's not really suitable for a stop-motion miniature (no joints, for one thing). Not saying it isn't superior, it's just difficult and impractical for the causal animation enthusiast.

  • Cool animation. You should probably work on the photo-realism though, it was great tho.

  • photo-realism? huh? it is photo-realistic. what's wrong with it?

  • I mean it looks like it was rendered with a Raytracer, and somehow just looks a little fake. I can't exactly put my finger on it though. It's very good though.
