  • Hey Chris, i have a problem with my arms , and maybe my body itself. so my right arm is much bigger than my left, so the triceps and biceps. and i dont know how i can fix it. and to my body. like my stomach is a little twistet to the left site. and when i want to train my left arm biceps it more goes on my left chest. maybe u know what i can do.

    thx

  • how do you know the right amount of weight? and how do you know which amounts of reps get you strength and which ones size?

  • @01coyote13 just have to test it out. make sure you can do all the reps but make it difficult to do

  • STERIODS

  • @Tstn53 lol not quite hes to skinny for roids

  • @Buriedmybrokenbones it's obvious looking a is his veins..yea ur not foolin me little man.

  • @Tstn53 Veins have nothing to do with steroids! When you train your muscles the blood will rush to them and that's why you will get this vain pump. I hate silly people like you why yell out steroids at other peoples accoplisments because you can't reach anything yourself!

  • @benbrown1982

In snatches, the radial brachialis is activated, which goes into and basically forms the lower part of the bicep. So technically, bicep is involved.

  • Liking those veins popping out in your arms !

  • @jonrosenzweig your reason to train is just to get some girls to like you? I feel srry 4 u man.

  • @jonrosenzweig 'the fuck you talking about son. I don't even watch this guys videos but I can see from a glance that his physique looks like the lean athletic looking physique that girls go for over bodybuilder physiques most of the time (unfortunately). Do you even lift?

  • Meanwhile back at his house someone is copulating with his present aquaintance.

  • why is everyone getting so upset over Ben Brown's honest opinion? Thats exactly what it is and opinion. Don't get mad over it, just see it as that an opinion. Geez.....

  • Was that 45 each plate or one dumbbell .. i got confused.. ;P

  • I hammer curl 40 lb dumbells, I am about 6'2, and I weigh roughly 205 lbs, is this good?

  • I want your body... I'm too skinny. Any suggestions? I drink protein every morning, and I try to eat healthy. I don't want to gain too much weight I like the way I look but I'm 5'9" and 120lbs and still getting taller so I want to find a way to beef up without getting too much bigger if that makes any sense. Send me a pm if you have any tips. Thanks!

  • @TheZohaun Well i was a skinny guy before i started train 3 years ago. With some amount of kickboxing, karate and boxing lessons. Well i am not an ultra trained guy now, but i am not skinny anymore. I didnt take protein shakes or switched my eating attitude. Training circulation - Every 2 days 1 hour.

  • @Croscrack I just started hitting the gym. I've done gymnastics for 8 years and I'm super lean. 3.6% body fat. I have the definition but I want to just fill out a little bit more. So basically what you're saying is just continue hitting the gym every couple of days and I'll be fine?

  • @TheZohaun Well, it works for me. It's the only advise that i can give you. But there are enough forum where you can ask bodybuilders etc. who really knows more about the body and it's building anatomy. Sorry

  • @Croscrack I know that there are two ways to build muscle. One is for body builders and one is for olympic strength trainers. One builds the proteins in the muscles making you stronger and the other builds up liquids in your muscles making them bigger. Hard to improve on one without increasing the other a little bit which is why body builders are still strong but if they got to that size by training the way strength trainers did they would be 10 times as strong. That's about all i know though

  • @TheZohaun Yes, as far as i know = Many repeats with heavy weights -> strength. Some repeats with very heave weigth -> Body

  • @TheZohaun Can you provide some sources for your claims please?

  • @Antipopularization Wikipedia. Look for sarcoplasmic hypertrophy and the other one is like myosomething hypertrophy.

  • @TheZohaun My university discourages using Wikipedia as a source; it's an online encyclopaedia that can be edited by anybody.

  • @Antipopularization Well then search bing for Hypertrophy. There are two different types. The Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy is what body builders aim to increase and it makes your muscle bigger and more defined where as the Myoplasmic or whatever it's called Hypertrophy is what olympic body builders aim to increase and it's the proteins in your muscles which will increase your strength not just size

  • What can work my biceps best? Curls?

  • hammer curls or normal dumbell curls?

  • whats the name of the song in the background?

  • i hate bicep freak, get a barbell put some weight on and squat

  • Pause at 0.54! Hahaaaa!!

  • What if your goals are to lift as much as possible?

  • Nice hammers man. Just wondering what size are your arms now?

  • CURLS FOAR ZEH GURLZZ

  • I like this curls

  • VEINY

  • very nice

  • @tehvaonmas - With the exception of the different types of deadlift, the biceps are used, as either primary or secondary pullers, in ALL pulling movements. Pulling movements like the clean. By the way, calling me an idiot really makes you sound exponentially more intelligent than me. Good job.

  • @benbrown1982 the biceps are barely involved in the power clean, the power clean is pretty much a deadlift except that instead of extension of just the hips and knees, you extend wour hips, knees and ankles, the only pull you should purposely do with your upper body would be with your back when you shrug the weight to get it up at thigh level right before you propel the weight up into the catch by thrusting your hips forward causing the bar to hit off of your thighs and go up into the catch

  • how big are your arms??

  • Comment removed

  • @benbrown1982 Ben, IMO you're just regurgitating a silly opinion you heard at your local crossfit gym. Certain single joint movements do belong in serious strength training programs and that's why real athletic performance coaches include them in the training regimens for real athletes. Also, if you are developing biceps strength by doing cleans or snatches then YOU ARE DOING THEM WRONG. THE BICEPS ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT INVOLVED IN CLEANS OR SNATCHES.

  • @TSuperChallenge They are somewhat involved in pullups :D

  • @TSuperChallenge look up some stuff on human anatomy for me be cause i'm certain that in reducing the angle of the elbow that you are inherently recruiting the biceps for unless you arm move magically without that muscle. if a body part moves at all then it has a muscle acting on it.

  • @TSuperChallenge dude my stupid football coach said power cleans are a total body work out!

im 131 i clean 175, yet i have skinny arms, no one believes me i can bench clean and squat more than my weight lol.....

btw thanks for telling off benbrown1982 ... hes a fat ass know it all

  • @benbrown1982 idiot. Biceps are not used in power cleans. Power cleans are more of a lower body lift for explosiveness. Not for bicep strength. Have you done them before?

  • @benbrown1982 Really? That's an interesting opinion. So according to you, every NFL running back, linebacker and wide receiver is not using a "legitimate strength training program" because they do biceps curls. You sound like an expert, you should start posting videos.

    Best.

    CK.

  • @TSuperChallenge hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @TSuperChallenge why did they have to be in football huh?

  • Love your serious videos, man. Gives me a tremendous amount of motivation. And these haters with the steroid remarks; screw 'em. Nothin' but uneducated people who don't know that proper weight lifting, cardio and nutrition can do you for you as a individual. Thanks for the vlogs, bro.

  • who ever says "oh that person takes steroids" obviously that person does not train hard enough, or long enough, and they dont eat healthy, you cant go to the gym once and awhile and expect to look lean and big... its dedication... not being lazy

  • ok i was kidding guys you dont have sense of humor, dont you?

  • I cant stand when u are in the Gym and if ur lifting alot they all of a sudden assume and Judge that you are on Steroids. I am 15 and I have been judeged for being on Steroids. I think its Highly Disrespectfull. All the work and Commitment I put into Natural Body Building and Powerlifting and all I get in return is being mistaken for taking Steroids.

  • steroids

  • @xshadw You're 100% wrong. I don't even take any supplements. If you want to look, feel and be your best, the key is real training and proper nutrition.

  • @TSuperChallenge ok if you dont take any supplements then you have best genetics everyone dont have your genetics , and ofcorse you start in powerlifting first then you move to bodybuilding right ?

  • @xshadw Supplements are GARBAGE. And I don't have exceptional genetics either... I was extremely weak and skinny until I was about 20 years old. What I do have is focus, commitment, and the Heart of a Champion Program. Also, I've never been into "powerlifting" or "Bodybuilding" I'm concerned with athletic performance, not benching 600lbs or looking "huge."

  • @TSuperChallenge exact reason why i subscribed same outlook I have to weight training, just being healthy, fit and lookin your best, no supplements or other bullshit, just raw training that requires nothing but your full committment, thankyou for proving to idiots that steroids and supplements aren't a nesseccity

  • @xshadw most people only accuse others of using steroids because it gives them an excuse for being lazy, its called hard work, working out properly and using proper nutriotion not sitting on the couch dipping cheetos in ice cream for dinner

  • @xshadw most people only accuse others of using steroids because it gives them an excuse for being lazy, its called hard work, working out properly and using proper nutrition not sitting on the couch dipping cheetos in ice cream for dinner

  • @xshadw steroids is what people accuse you of because they are to lazy to workout and train properly and choose proper nutrition instead of dipping cheetos in ice cream for dinner while sitting on the couch for hours at a time

  • @xshadw steroids is what people accuse you of because they are to lazy to workout and train properly and choose proper nutrition instead of dipping cheeto's in ice cream for dinner while sitting on the couch for hours at a time

  • i try to do hammer curls but for some reason they just arent that hard on my biceps, is their a way to make them really hit the biceps hard? :O

  • @weightliftingvlog Focus on using the biceps if you are cheating by swinging up the weight with your elbow. I don't understand how you can't feel it if you do 15,12,10,8 amap with the right weights. Maybe you need to increase the weights. What is making you stop in the AMAP set?

  • @drandersw the 8th reps

  • @weightliftingvlog Are you stopping because your biceps are fatigued? Ideally you should only be able to do 12, 10, 8 with the choice of weights and then kill your muscles in the AMAP set. If they are killed then they are killed. Why don't you feel a good pump?

  • @moddingpc true, it is physically possible to lose fat faster than gain muscles (depending on energy deficit) but consider this example:

I estimate that I gain 100 g muscles from one session of leg exercises. I also think I expend the energy of 50 g of fat in the session. So if you just compare those numbers there is more muscle increase than fat burn.

However, that extra muscle leads to higher metabolism during its life and I think the grand total of fat burn due to the session is around 300 g.

  • @drandersw

+100 gr lean muscle mass in ONE session? so i assume youve never touched any weight nor did you do any kind of sport in the past or you take roids. i dont want to get you down but where are these numbers from?

  • @moddingpc it is just a guess with uncertainty plus/minus a factor 2 maybe. I haven't exercised in a systematic way for many years before this program. I just lifted weights sporadically. So how much muscle do you think you can gain per session?

  • @drandersw

how much muscle you gain in one session depends on a huge number of factors. but as a complete beginner you can expect 5-10 kg muscle gain in the first year if everything is done correctly. as you become more advanced these gains will shrink rapidly (1-2 kg muscle gain per year) and one day you will plateau naturally although you have to train hard just to maintain what youve achieved. how FAST you can gain muscle depends also on your genes.

  • @moddingpc I was guessing 12 kg and that my leg muscles would account for more than a third so therefore 5 kg per year which is 100 g per session.

Have you seen studies regarding genes and response to exercise? I know about a mutation that leads to more muscles but never heard of differences among regular people.

  • @moddingpc just to avoid misunderstanding, ONE session would be one day, so 4 leg exercises with 51 reps each.

My guess regarding fat burned by the exertion is based on how tired I feel compared to walking because I burn 50 g of fat per hour walking. Maybe I burn more than that on the leg exercises.

I have done rather detailed studies of my own body's response to diet and exercise over many months actually, several times.

If you search the web carefully you can find scientific info on the topic.

  • @drandersw

how tired you feel is not an indicator for the amount of fat youve burnt.

for example you can sprint 1 minute and feel same tired as jog 1 hour but in THIS CASE jogging burns more fat. generally im a friend of HIIT.

  • @moddingpc I believe in high intensity too. I did 79 minutes on an exercise bike a few days ago at low intensity and then finished off with 20 minutes of high intensity. According to the machine I burned 1 hour's worth of low intensity pedaling in 20 minutes. It is much more fun with high intensity and I suspect it has a better effect on my muscles and cardiovascular system.

  • @drandersw

HIIT has good affects on the muscle : fat ratio. it is even said to make muscles grow a little bit due hormone release and the strength required to do such high intesity. so HIIT may be the only training form you need if youre in search for a well toned body. remember no1 injury in bodybuilding is shoulder joint pain. lifting heavy weights (all pulling and pushing excercises) will damage the shoulder joints one day no matter how good your form is.

  • @moddingpc I think weight training has an even better effect on muscle:fat ratio. You grow the muscles as much as possible and the increased basal metabolism gives a lot of free extra fat burn.

I used to play lots of badminton which can be hard on the shoulder if you overdo it. I don't know anything about weight training and shoulder injuries. Don't you think that increased strength can rather prevent injuries?

  • I am in week 5 and I can already notice an increased strength in all exercises.

I have been doing wide pull downs forever and never increased my strength before I began this program. I am really excited about it.

I totally follow the program except I don't always do the exact reps. Sometimes the weight is a bit too small so I do a few extra reps. On rare occasions it is too high so I do a few reps less.

  • MILK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Mind Muscle Connection" amazing words CK!

  • Chris you rock

  • Yo Chris something you could try when it comes to standing lifts, stand on a half ball, its great core workout, practical exercise too

  • @moddingpc & @gmhippie After I hurt my back I was totally detrained. Several months of inactivity caused my muscles to atrophy and I was as weak as a baby deer when I started the TSC Heart of a Champion Program last November plus my back was still recovering. Truthfully you can accomplish a HUGE transformation in just 70 days. You're right, you can burn fat faster than you can build muscle, but you can do both at the same time and get amazing results in 70 days.

  • @TSuperChallenge A-men

  • @TSuperChallenge

but i 2008/2009 you already had made a great transformation (from what i see in your videos) so i assume your fast muscle (re)gain is more or less naturally (of course you had to give 100% dedication). did you do sports in your youth, chris?

  • @TSuperChallenge hey chris. ive got a similar problem o had a kidney transplant and gained around 50-60 pounds of weight. where can i get the program from and how much is it

  • @sukh126.. fitfaststrong.info you can get it there from the links page.

  • Vascularity looking good bro

  • leave the ego at the door

  • can i drink milk during my workouts¿?

  • If I remember right he is about 6'3" and 195 lbs.

  • Chris how much do you weigh and how tall are you?

  • you know.... i think i got a little man crush on Chris. He'sss jussst to much of a beassst

  • @matt1523 no fags allowed

  • chris, how old are you?

and how long did it take you to reach this kind of body?

  • @moddingpc You need to check the 70 day transformation video, guy....

  • @Billups97

one cant add muscles like that in 70 days.

he must have done alot of excercise in the past years. and id like to know how long hes doing sports.

  • @moddingpc <<<< LOL, have you been drinking?

  • vascular
