  • The guitar solo starting at 5:00 made me scream, and i found out that life is beautiful.

  • The best thing it has happened to music ever, David Gilmour!

  • 7:27 O.o

  • i wish i had my own Dave.

  • Now we know what we will hear when St Peter greats us at the gates of paradise

  • in the beginning there was the big bang caused by david playing the comfortably numb solo. Then he played high hopes and humans developed a frontal lobe in their brain, we only use 10% of our brain because david is using the other 90% this equals awesomeness at a level that we cant comprehend! and thus we shall feel privileged that he uses 90% of every humans brain capacity, not that he needs it!

  • Gilmour riesce a esprimere con la musica emozioni che altrimenti non potrebbero essere spiegate.

  • I just love you, David! <3

  • How can people not usmino Gilmour, he did geniaa, people who do not know the whole life chaaksova music, the people who have not added any other kind, thank you David, thank you Pink Floyd, you always emakhsovrebit people, you have to endure:))

  • Just makes you forget about the world for a few minutes... Magnificent beyond words!

  • Absolutely Beautiful!

  • can someone tell me what instrument is david playing at 5:03

  • @snake120696 lap steel guitar

  • @triptolemoBlues thanks

  • En videos como éste, el ícono con la mano que tiene el pulgar hacia abajo, ni debería estar.

  • The best off........

  • FUCK \m/

  • groso

  • zomg, best solo ever.

som1 make a video of the top 20 best solos ever ever.

    this gotta be on it

  • the last days i am listening to david gilmour and floyd all the time and i feel smarter. seriously.

  • what tha helll!! Gilmour sings that part '....for ever an ever' around 5:02 wearing the classical guitar behind the microphone, and then in a split second he races over to the slidy lap guitar thing to play that sexy solo. how the hell did he do that? or are there really two david gilmours? damn that man confounds me

  • @TsiaSianviiich It wasn't him singing the 'forever and ever', it was his support singer.

  • What happened to Nick Mason?

  • i had been listening this song since I was seventeen and it turn my being in revolution, it flow trough my ears feedin' me with awareness to discover that I am another witness and i was never born and i will never die, I am just visiting like this eternity's song....celebrate life brother, thanks Gilmour, thanks Waters

  • They said Clapton was god...Im afraid they got it wrong...Gilmour sends chills up and down my spine.....Music from the soul...Thanks David

  • This slide guitar solo just takes you into a different world. It's so dark, yet uplifting. Words truly cannot capture the emotion like a guitar can..

  • that guy on the keyboard and backing vocal is talented and confident, look at him singing "forever and ever" while Gilmour was running to play the last solo, it went soo smooth and genuine, respect

  • i like lady gaga much better !

    (no just kiddin') :D

  • This is the most beautiful song ever written, and this version is simply amazing. The last 2 minutes make the entire song.

  • A truly amazing piece of music, absolutely breathtaking. Listen just after the end of the song, and you can hear the reaction of a guy in the crowd who thinks the same!

  • this song is beyond words, perfection!

  • Waaaaaaaaw!

  • When I heard it first I was 21 now I am 36. I hoped I would hear it again live by Pink Floyd but it was gone. R.I.P. Pink Floyd, I will always remember you.

  • the band ho has motivated the hole genration of new and old kids.

  • is it me or did my body tempreture drop when i heard the division bell?

  • @Jstinb - No, mine did too! It was actually kind of creepy in my opinion, but it makes perfect since in why it's being used in this song. Too bad Sid Barret passed away, I'm just wondering what David Gilmour's going to do with the band, is he going to keep it and make more music or is he giving up Pink Floyd?

Someone told me that David Gilmour went solo, I hope not :(

  • @Tartans08 Pink Floyd is over, the keyboard player is dead and Waters' voice just ain't what it used to be. Gilmour is still doing great so I don't see why he wouldn't go solo

  • @Tartans08 Wow, dude you are out of the loop. David has been solo for a few years now. Playing with Mr. Wright until he passed recently. Pink Floyd is no longer, unfortunately.

  • This is absolutely beautiful. I always loved the song, but this performance was beautiful.

  • The Bass slide sound at 4:10 it's just beautiful!

  • divinity!

  • ^^^ hahahaha!!! Bovril? :L

i love this song... its beautiful

  • Absolutely Stunning. I was wondering does Mr. Gilmour enjoy Bovril?

  • dude Bovril is so awsome lol i got some from malta hehehehehehehahah
