  • A very good track with an Abba-ish sound to it !

  • This track could have been on the SAW-produced album "Please yourself" - why it wasn´t - well - I DON´T KNOW....!!! "Please yourself" was released in 1991 (?) and produced minor hits like "Moving on" and "Last thing on my mind". "Last thing on my mind" was covered by Steps in the 1990´s, who were of course Pete Waterman protegees....and was a TOP-10-hit for them !

  • This is Bananarama at their ALL TIME LOW!

The S/A/W period just got to much.

Tracks like Venus, More Than Physical, I HEard A RUmour and SOme Girls were FAB!

But they should have not worked with them fill time, this is so generic and boring!

    Hardly Nanna's 1982 - 1986

  • Stupid stupid . Everything they did post SAW was never as good. Just like Kylie.

  • I am sick of asking Sara & Kerin to get these tracks on their site for download! You know we would all buy HQ versions of tracks like this and the tracks like U R My Baby (original) etc!

    Come on girls!

  • This one is by far the Best unreleased track from them!! Great Lyrics!!

  • This is superb - classic Bananarama. does anyone know if it was Siobanh or Jackie as the extra one?

  • @Markymarky76

This was part of 1989 recording sessions for a new Bananarama SAW album that never saw the light of the day! Other songs recorded same period but used later on were "Heartless" and "Ain't No Cure" from Pop Life!

  • Is it me or do they sound a lot like Abba here?

  • Love this song so much. It brings back good memories to me X)

  • Comment removed

  • Pop Life was a huge leap in the right direction, unfortunately at the wrong time. I think going back to work with Waterman and dropping Jaquie were the two biggest mistakes made during this time period. I think the whole 'Abba Banana' idea was great, but it certainly never should have been carried out by PWL.

  • I swear whoever leaked these demos just held a microphone to some speakers because the sound on the originals is spot on,no matter this is a great song , shame it never saw release

  • @Mellywelly29

Narh this is quite "Clear" it be way worse, it sounds like a very low birate mp3 rip like mono 96khz.

Not a bad song, dont think its hit material thou like "I heard a rumour.

  • I love this song. This track should of been released. Beautiful and very touching song.

  • great !

  • I wish they would release all unreleased PWL tracks on CD. :)

  • Mann they should have released that album with S.A.W instead of Pop Life. If you listen to other songs in the period when this was recorded, well i think it would have been a hit. Aah well, thanks for posting!

  • @Guydude123

radio was polluted with jp hammer and mariah carey by 1990 and programmers weren't letting anything else be heard.

if pop life removed the rapper voices it could have been good.

  • Can anyone help me with getting the mp3 copy of this track?? Or any unreleased S.A.W tracks the Nana's did??? HELP??

These girls rock... 25+yrs in the business, BRILLIANT! 'drama' could've had a few more singles released from it... Bring on the new album coming out this year... YAY!!!

  • Swain and Jolley were better!

  • Swain and Jolley were good. But Stock/Aitken/Waterman are much better.

  • @cantforgetyou

S/A/W were good from 1984 to 1986 BUT overall Bananarama made better and more creative music with Swain & Jolley HANDS DOWN!

  • I AGREE!

  • I think SAW should have stopped after Venus, More Than Physical and I Heard A Rumour... I think workin g with them FULL TIME was a bad idea. SAW were good for a few trax, but they lost their edge once they went full time with SAW!

Hence Siobhan leaving, must have been cravind some artistic control after SAW for a few years~!

  • I´m sorry it´s on minute 2.35, where Jaquie looks like Jacko the Wacko. I´m only watching this to see the nice pictures of the girls, because the song is bad, but I´m sure it will get stuck in my head forever.

  • Watch Jaquie at minute 1.35 she looks like Michael Jackson.

  • Nice pictures of the girls. Notice how Jaquie is always on the other side of the pictures, while Karen and Sarah are always together.

  • Like always...bless

  • The song is from 1989 and was intended for release on the 'Nothing Lasts Forever' album which was never released.

    w w w . jacquieoh. com

  • They we're really stupid for not going on working with S.A.W. Who could ever stop recording an album written, produced and arranged by S.A.W.? I would love to record an album with them. But I can't sing. Ha, ha, ha. And I don't want to be famous.

  • I share those feelings, i wouldn't want the fame, though the money is welcome lol.

  • It has never held Bananarama back!!!

    x :-)

  • @cantforgetyou

One doesn't have to know how to sing to record with S/A/W HELLO!

Look at Big Fun, the most untalented queens EVER!

  • @TheNouveauxdecadence That true. You're right.

  • I love this song because it sounds like carousel music, and I have this weird thing for carousels.......they get me hot.

  • In 1989, Bananarama began working on a new album with S.A.W. and the group didn´t like the direction they were going, so they decided to work with other producers, so this songs were shelved.

  • These actually arent that bad, they should of stayed with s.a.w i mean hello! they new what they were doing.

  • Sounds a little Christmassy doncha think! You pipped me to the post with this one x x Love it totally

  • Never heard this before......I LOVE IT!

  • oh my god i love this song very much to bad it never on any of bananarama album why why why why is that, i will love bananarama always.

  • WoW - I hadn't even heard this version before! I only have a pared down version with a much simpler backing. This is a brillaint track.

  • I don't care, I like it.

  • What a great track. You can hear that it could have been a great single. Listen to the lyrics. Very strong! And Mike Stock always can come up with a great melodie. Such a good and strong song. Such a shame this song never was on an album!!!

  • Thanks for uploading, great to hear these 'lost tracks' in full at last!
