A Fear of Vending Machines (I'm uploading this for AllPoetry.com)

Very intense imagery about a solid fear.

But, I think the bigger question to be asked here is why skitles over m&ms?

The machine didn't have any M&Ms unfortunately, otherwise i would probably have gone with them. You don't really see M&Ms in vending machines that much anymore, especially the original ones. I usually leave that line out of performances nowadays, it seems like it comes at the wrong time in the poem...

Great recitation. I find that poems become more meaningful when you hear it being recited by the author. Vending machines are horrible. I noticed it all the time while attending university. Even the bottled water was overpriced!

HAHAHA The students life is a long line of hard decisions. If i we're you i'd save your money for a week ,go down the local hardware store and buy yourself a hammer and turn the vending machine into an "all you can eat" machine!!
