It 'true! Utrillo was an independent. Painter of enclosed spaces. He has painted his life: he was the prisoner of Montmartre, his paradise. It 'my favorite painter.

Belle queste atmosfere fredde..fatte di cieli lividi e cupe prospettive di periferia, sembrano paesaggi incantati, come sospesi in un miraggio.

Grazie molte, di cuore. Utrillo è stato il mio primo pittore preferito. Quando andai a Parigi riuscii a trovare il "Lapin agil", la cantina dove lui "beveva". E' rimasta intatta. Si trova dietro la chiesa del Sacro Cuore a Montmartre.
