i think the reason why you are not getting enough sapplings is because of how long the leaves are taking to dacay, my theory is that the sapplings are despawning because they also don't get to the collection point quick enough, but there definately should be more sapplings

The spiders ARE climbing up to the crusher because they can see you, but the glass actually has nothing to do with it. Spiders can see through any block, unlike other mobs.

Some of the sapplings might have despawned. Items only sit there for 5 minutes.

It seemed like you got a extremely low yield.

You can still piston the ice around, which is a option since you're relatively close to a snow biome. It will be annoying yea, but its better than some of us who have it 1K+ blocks away.

Here's a tip for making trenches to transport items: Put automatic pistons in the line of the water, it speeds up the water and all the items in in it.

As someone also mentioned, items despawn after 5 minutes, so your farm could possibly yield more saplings. Anyway, keep up the good work and your LP has a great start!

Your spider exp farm it's maybe a kind of an accidental design but I love it too, it change, and new design are welcome I think :)

I was wondering if it's enough light for a maximum speed growing for the tree. By the wiki: " light level of at least 9 in the block directly above the sapling" Jack-O-Lantern have 15 light level so... enought ?.?

Expect that, looks pretty and well thinking, good job :)

I really like the tree farm. One way to improve it so the Sapplings grow faster would be to put torches on the sides of the dirt due to the fact that they need a special lightlevel about them to grow.

Really beautiful tree farm; slick architecture. You really put an astounding amount of work and polish into everything, and I really appreciate how you edit or timelapse most of the grunt work. I'm definitely going to use the underwater lighting under leaves effect. Echoing what others have already noted, spiders can track you through any block (which makes you as good as a water stream), and I suspect some of your saplings despawned while you were waiting for all the leaves to decay.

why dont you use bone meal to make these trees grow quicker ?.... (click on the sapeling with your bone meal in your hand and it will grow straight away
