  • YES! KEEP THE FENDER

  • you should get a seat cowl instead looks cooler

  • I have a question on the owner's manual. On page 53, it has the vehicle speed when shifting. I dont understand what it means. It said you should shift from 3rd to 4th at 19 mph. And then shift from 4th to 5th at 21 mph. What does that means? The downshifting speed doesnt make sense either. please HELP!

  • just shift when you want dont let the rpm go to like 7-10 when your cruising but u should be able to tell by the engine man

  • Have you ever taken a passenger on a ride? There are some low cc bikes that passenger is not recommended!? I find it strange though.

  • you dont really need the tool kit your olny going to use it at home not when your riding so you can just take that off

  • it's there if bike breaks on the road so i personally would keep it there , you never know when you need it

  • I don't like it when the fender sticks out so much like that. Can you remove them?

  • Yes you can. I tihnk you can get this thing called a fender eliminator or something like that.

But ive seen videos of people just getting a saw and cutting them off it looks dogdey but you can sand the cut to make it look smooth then re drill holes for lisence plate. And in teh end looks way better and hardly noticable, search for it on youtube, its on there somewhere.

  • Bike in Canada costs 4700$ the 2009

    2008 costs 4250$

    '09 kills it =)

  • I just get so jealous when people talk about the prices outside of Denmark where I live!

Here the price just went up (1.of may) and it now costs 60.000 Dkk for a new one !

    That is 10.968 USD !!!

And im not even sure that is with registration ;(

Just whanted to point that out, and let someone here my frustration...

  • lol where i live its 3,999 for 09 and 3499 for the 08

  • wow!!

u can take the back sit off!!

    cool!!!

    hehehe....

  • if you decide to get rid of the fender and get a fender eliminator kit can you post a video on the installation?

  • That piece of plastic on the side of the bike by the rear tire is the chain guard.

And I was told you wouldn't even need the tool kit, so if you take that out then you should be able to put your whole hand inside the trunk.

  • put a 150 on the back

  • dude can you carry a pasanger??

  • Can you really take the whole bike apart with whats in the tool kit?? that would be handy

  • Arrowmax are shit tyres if you wanna push your bike... good for commuting but twisties... they = a big no no

  • whats the widest tire you can get for this bike or is it the 130?

    thanks

  • I have an '06 ninja 250 and I have a 130/90 rear tyre, but im not sure about the 2008.

  • i have a black 08 ninja 250...i think its great for beginners...great on gas...and looks good...handles good too...brakes are good...overall great bike...

  • gettinginutube.. dude just wanna ask you some question, is this bike really good for a guy who never ride a bike b4..is it really easy to handle and stuff like that.. reply me asap thanks alot

  • WOW DUDE I WAN'T THAT BIKE..!! really!!

  • Hahha. The "make the bike bigger plastic" is the chain gaurd. LOL I remember my 250 as my fist bike. Glad you like yours. Most dudes go straight for a "big boy" bike and end up crashing it. Ride safe.

  • How much does it cost in Europe?

  • official price here in germany is 4345€ plus fees, so roundabout 4500€ total

placed my order a month ago and waiting for the shipment in mid july...can't wait!

  • You got one cheap. Im getting one in ireland and its €5500

  • yeatserday i saw one in germany for 3000 euro

  • the "fender thing" reminds me a of a 08 R6

  • that little black "plastic peice" is a chain gaurd, it does make the bike look a little bigger but it mostly protects the rest of the bike and you from chain lube splatter

  • i may be wrong, but i do believe that plastic bit is the chain protector.

  • nice bike :)

  • thanxx! for this!!!!!!!!

  • i suppose yeah pretty happy about the bike.

  • this so called plastic"thing" is not there for making it look bigger its there for protecting the chain. or otherwise that no chaingrease gets on your bike it works both ways ;)

  • Yeah it also stops your foot from becoming minced by the chain.

  • Hey man, I was thinking about getting the new ninja 250 and I was wondering if it was able to carry two people while riding thanks.

  • you can get a solo cover that replaces the passenger seat cover, that makes your trunk big enough to hold something small like a wallet and a phone, but for a hundred bucks i dont know if it would be worth it.

  • Nice bike bro. my bro has a 2007 zx6r, your bike looks very similar to his. the mud guard/license plate mount is very easy to remove and modify to look better. I have an 07 Z1000 and my setup was pretty close to yours with the mud guard. overall, very nice bike.

  • that's a lot of room!

  • do u live in minnesota, sry dnt spll great

  • yes i live in minnesota in eden prairie

  • my 08 ninja has been recalled. i am also having problems with my right blinkers. recalled for brake line and also air clean. i am out a bike for at least a week.

  • Congrats lucky dog!!!

  • were is that new video at

  • Actually it looks like you were pointing out the plastic "chain guard." It protects against things getting caught in the chain and from stuff flying off the chain such as chain lube. The chain needs to be cleaned and lubricated every so often. Check your manual or the dealer.

  • today i just wanted to ride. it was the nicest day we have had all year. my plans are the next good day i am going to bring my girl on back of my bike and she will run the video. so i will have a drive by vid, passenger vid and highway speed vid very shortly. stay tuned. hopefully thurs or fri.

  • oh thanks alot man i been wating for a video with a passanger becuase i wanna see how the bike looks with a passanger..thanks

  • were is that new video at

  • hey sweet videos man..im up here in chicago so its still to cold to ride, im gonna buy my black one as soon as it gets warm, itl also be my first bike..i was wondering if you knew anything about the headlights, id like to change mine to the nice blue xenon ones, im pretty sure its just 2 halogen bulbs but idk i dont have mine yet haha

  • the headlight bulbs are h7's i surely would go with something around 5000-8000k.

  • thanks alot man...would u have any idea on how to get to the bulbs? maybe make a vid of that? hahahah hmmm sure would be nice..lol

  • i could post a vid how to change the lightbulbs no prob,.

  • Is there plenty of foot room between the foot peg and gear shifter leaver thing? Or will it need adjusting for people with big feet. Yeah I know it sounds like a stupid question but I had to adjust it on the bike iv got now haha

  • watch for a spanking new video from me very soon. 43 degrees in minnesota on monday so its a surely thang i will be puttin a good video of me riding. oh and the area p exhaust (full) cost just as much any slip on by yosh or two bros and sounds just as good. ads 28% power and love 7+ pounds. how can you go wrong. area p does not require rejetting. suggest for more power though.

  • Mike you rock!

  • Thanks!! Iv put a deposit down for a black one but gota wait till April until its released in the uk :-( is the backlight on the clocks blue?

  • yes like a bluish whit color tach speed and fuel cluster. but i dont think yours will have the fuel cluster it will have a temp gauge instead

  • Thanks! I think it will have a fuel gauge cuz I have seen a video on youtube I think the only difference between the u.s version and the u.k version is that the u.k version is fuel injected

  • hey what are the gears on it!

  • dude your awsome i'm gonna add you as a friend!!!!!!
