I JUST SAW THEM AN HOUR AGO!!!! =DDDDD They were INCREDIBLE!!! John looked soooo much like the real John and Paul sounded SO MUCH like the real one!!!
I went to the show with my wife and 5 yr old daughter in Philly for their last performance. I went with a lot of the skepticism that many people are showing here. I don't blame them for it. It is their opinion. I will say this. They were fantastic. As long as you go in knowing that you are not going to see the Beatles, and just a tribute to them... I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone come out of the theater sans smile.
saw them last night in Philly, amazing show, will go back if they come around again. They don't miss a single note and sound just like the Beatles. Great costumes and stage presence.
OOOOH!! This is how I remember the old Beatlemania!! Saw it twice on Broadway in '78. Phenominal doesn't do justice. They'll be here mid April and I'm gonna BEG my husband for tickets! YAAAY!!
Saw them recently, the show is excellent, very good music, we even got the left handed Paul. The various set ups for stage looked much better than the ones I saw on utoobe from other shows of theirs so they must have updated the look. Strong recommendation. Waiting now for the ELP tribute :-)
This is a great tribute. It is meant for folks who loved the Beatles, and want any kind of close facsimile. Any detractors are just empty shells, and should get a life.
I want to see it so bad... But the rest off my family don't like the beatles. But i hope they will get me dow to oslo so i can see rain. I want to get to the closest to the beatels as i can get :-D
If the group sings this well, why don't they sing their own songs and make a name for themselves with their own music instead of singing someone else's songs?
@Janewski11 Why don't they write their own songs? Gee I don't know... unless they can't write songs as good as Lennon/Mccartney compositions and they they can make more money playing the best music of the 20th century. Why don't great violinists stop doing Mozart and write their own symphonies?
@Janewski11 ummm..... because I'm pretty sure it's a musical n it's a TRIBUTE which means they sings songs written n performed by an artist (perferably here by The Beatles) lol get ur facts straight please man/woman/or both before u start going off on different videos lol it jus makes u look like a bunch of foolishness xD
Going to see this next week! :D I'm so excited ive always wanted to be apart of the beatlemania and since I never really will be this is as close as it gets stop worrying about them sounding or being JUST like the Beatles because that's impossible but I love how they seem to really love it instead of taking it as a "job"
It's true what that guy says. People go see orchestras to listen to classical music that what composed a long ass time ago. This is the same thing. They are paying tribute to the greatest band ever! People just need to stop hating!!
the manager of rain says '''we are as close to a live beatles concert that anyone is going to come to'''',,,yes that is true, when I saw the real Paul,, live in concert about ten years ago, it just wasn't the same without a fake john, george and ringo
@NeverShoutLana They performed in Oxford? Went to Ole Miss. Wow! My home town! When did you see them? They are coming here to Panama City and I will be there. Hotty toddy!
how can people expect that they will sound and lokk exactely like the beatles. I mean john and george is dead and the band broke upp years ago! wake up!!
We caught their act at the Tropicana...they were great. What do you expect, the real Beatles? So what if "Paul" plays the guitar right handed? Their jokes during the show, their comments, and their whole persona captured a glimpse of the real Beatles. This is as close as any of us will ever get to the real thing. It's like seeing Gary Busey as Buddy Holly and saying it wasn't really Buddy...duh...Buddy's dead!
@radicalPANDAbear .......fanaticism......just fuckin put on a beatle cd...or watch a hard days night...help.....watch the beatles anthology if you wanna see the real deal......why would anyone wanna see this shiiiiiit!
Jesus - how can they REALLY be regarded as the best out there? The Paul is right handed, and does NOT play yesterday or Blackbird on the same guitar McCartney played it on - seriously? If you're going to be authentic, be authentic.
Oh helll no. You assholes think Elvis Tribute Artists are just cheesy guys in sequined jumpsuits? Elvis did far more for music than the beatles EVER could have AND the Elvis Tribute Artists clean these assholes' clocks. Look up Cody Slaughter if you don't believe me. What assholes.
Nothin says authentic Beatles like intelligent lighting. If the Beatles could reunite today, they wouldn't be as fat and old as the actors in this show. Sorry, but RAIN looks like what I could see at a local bar.
@SuicidalBuu Any bar in America. Every weekend there are a bunch of fat 50 somethings hacking through 40 year old songs. That is what RAIN looks like. Does the world really need another Beatles tribute band? The Beatles broke up over forty years ago, leave it alone. When is this stupid baby boomer nostalgia trip going to stop. The generation that helped launch rock and roll has now killed it.
@WelcomeWakinyan They came through town here, but alas I did not catch the show. I'd like to see them. If they return I will. I like a good tribute band. 1964 comes through here at least once a year.
Rain was fanastic at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, CA on Thursday, April 14, 2011. I witnessed the Beatles live concert never experienced. I really enjoyed the song "Happy Just To Dance With You" from Hard Day's Night.
whats that song called during 1:45-1:50, I went to see them last nite at the pantages in hollywood and heard them sing this song, but i never heard this song before but i love it. Rain was awesome by the way, my date loved it
I saw this, (On George Harrison's birthday coincidentally), and it was freaking fantastic. I loved every bit of the show, and I was so pleased how much I loved it. My cousin and I danced and sang with every song. since I'm only fourteen, it was really awesome to see how it must have been to see the Beatles. Not to mention how talented these guys were. I totally recommend seeing it if you ever get the chance! :D
not to be nitpicky, but the guy representing paul does not play left handed. i get that it's hard, but if thomas sangster learned how for nowhere boy...

I saw them and they were stunning. They have the music down pat...absolutely incredible. If you are a big Beatles fan, you will notice right off the bat.
@shavingcreamrox332 The voices and instuments are pre-recorded. It's all fake. Just 4 guys, immitating the motions!!! If they had to actually perform one song, they'd be laughed off stage!!!

Most of these tribute bands should have "Paul's" that play left handed. One of the things I like best about 1964 The Tribute.
