Cool, I heard some of the formal Japanese speech I'm learning in Japanese class right now. Usually when a guest comes over you make tea for them, and the guest usually says "O kamai naku"; means "You don't have to" or "That's okay". But usually you stay and have tea even if it's polite to say that. And if you don't wear slippers in the house you clean the floor :)
