Oh all right.I recently saw a special on WTLV's website on the Jacksonville Jaguars story from November 1993 and Lee Webb was on there did Marcia Ladendorff already leave by that time?
John Christopher Burns? The way some of the package's elements are animated is the only clue. It's somewhat un-jcbD like (so is KOCO circa 1994, but it has the same animation).
Lee Webb was still with WTLV when the 1993 graphics/theme package was introduced, and Marcia Ladendorff, his co-anchor, had already left the station. Donna Hicken (now Donna Deegan) replaced Ladendorff as co-anchor, and Webb left in 1993 or 1994 when Steve Abrams replaced him.
Sometime after Steve Abrams left, Alan Gionet co-anchored the 11 p.m. news with Donna Deegan (not sure if Gionet replaced Abrams). After Gionet left, Shannon Ogden, Deegan's current co-anchor, replaced Gionet.
Steve Smith has been on WTLV since the late 1980's, Phil Amato joined WTLV in 1993, and Patricia Crosby joined WTLV in 1995. Smith, Amato, and Crosby all worked together on GMJ from 1995 until recently, when weekend meteorologist Dave Vanore was laid off, and Steve Smith replaced Vanore. Michelle Jacobs, who had been doing traffic for FCN, began doing morning and noon weather as well when Smith moved to weekends.
I remember one time years ago when Patty Crosby filled in for Donna Deegan as co-anchor of the 5:30 p.m. newscast, which her Good Morning Jacksonville co-anchor Phil Amato co-anchors. I can't remember exactly when it was--sometime in the early to mid 2000's.
@whatheyyo Yes, Fox and Rogers did GMJ together in 1993, the year Donna Deegan replaced Marcia Ladendorff as Lee Webb's 11 p.m. co-anchor (Marcia was at WTLV for at least two years, as I have seen a tape my mother and stepfather have of her anchoring with Lee Webb in 1991).
@whatheyyo IDK how long after, but as early as I can remember Patty Crosby and Phil Amato were anchoring together until Joy Purdy, who had been anchoring 7 p.m. news, switched places with Patty.
@mbsjrcc06 Oh and do you know whether or not Sally Fox was still at WTLV when they introduced the 1993 graphics/theme package or did she already leave by then? And plus I saw a WTLV promo from 1992 that Donna Deegan was a part of the 11:00 news team with Lee Webb and Marcia Ladendorff so was she another co-anchor or was she just a featured reporter?
@whatheyyo Don't know about that, but I know Jeannie Blaylock was a health reporter, and I have seen a tape of her from 1993 when she was anchoring the 11 p.m. news when Marcia and Lee were off.
I'm not sure, since I do not watch First Coast News often because I don't live in Jacksonville. But I do live in Florahome, which is near Jacksonville, and I watch it occasionally when they cover stories in my area, such as the Haleigh Cummings disappearance case.
I never knew that TLV12 was an ABC affiliate from March 1980-1988. I have the 50th anniversary special on DVD...I was pleased to see how much channel 12 has changed over the years. That's a good news intro from 1994, btw. :-)
Personally, I loved the old 12 News logo - but on October 29, 2007, the new WTLV logo appeared on-air. Firstcoastnews.com still features the old logo; however, everything else (station I.D., promos, etc.) uses the newer logo.

I guess this is after Lee Webb left? I saw a WTLV clip recorded a year or two earlier with a different set and music.

Do you know when Patty Crosby stopped anchoring First Coast News(12 News) at Noon?

It was 2000 or 2001 when Angela Spears replaced Patricia Crosby as anchor of the noon news.

Steve Abrams worked briefly in Portland just a year earlier before landing the job in Jacksonville, & had also worked in Miami. Where's he now?

@JimmySand9 I know, right! Very resourceful, and very forward-looking for 1994.
