Ronny, He should not have been there. He wasn't a very good pilot. The man lost 4 aircraft before the Skyhawk was shot down. The other crashes were all in none combat areas. His dad did to much for him by clearing up his mess. He did get special treatment for most of his Navy life. He for the most part is an ok person, but in 1992 he had all his POW records classify. Has voted against veteran issues 7 out of 9 times. Oh and don't forget the Keating Five where he took kickbacks. I am a Vet.

McCain is a great person. A man who endured unspeakable things while he was a POW. McCain is a war hero and a patriot. He has my thanks and I know it is not enough. I am giving my vote to McCain because I feel with his real world experience in Nam and just as importantly in our senate, he will make a great commander-in-chief. The next president might appoint 2 supreme court judges. Mccain will appoint conservatives. Yes mccain is not a full conservative, but he's no liberal either. I took a poll about Hillary and McCain. It drove home that he is the only choice. I would have loved to see Fred Thompson be the candidate, but that was not to be. McCain has always been a Great American hero to me.
