well, it's actually no Diablo Pro. Seems to be a Framus Diablo Custom. These don't have the pickguard which looks drastically better but it also costs a little bit more.
Hi Notimune, I thought the Customs had Ebony boards with inlays, this is a 98 and has 3 single coils all marked Framus, I'm guessing its a special order.
hell yes... didn't notice that it has 3 single coils... just like a strat. never have seen a diablo with 3 single coils. Maybe it's an Custom Shop Diablo Pro...
I did own the same guitar model. In the beginning framus produced 3 diablo models: diablo, diablo pro and diablo custom. The one you own is the "simple" diablo, still a great guitar. It has 3 single coils which have "duncan designed pickups" (mostly with framus written on them) and a plain swamp ash body. The "pro" has 3 original duncan pickups with a hot rail at the neck and a pickguard.The custum has the same pickups as the pro but a carved flame maple top, no pickguard and custum inlays.

Indeed. A Custom has an arched maple top. This really is a Diablo Pro.

It's none of them - it's a Framus Monterey (they are not available any more).

Hi the truss cover was missing so I put a Diablo one on it, the only Monterey I've seen is multi coloured. Whatever it is its a true Rocker.
