Children under a certain age cannot distinguish between real vs . fantasy, so when you want to get your jollies off scaring little kids, please think twice.
We have to experiencing life to understand what is real or not. Halloween ..Little kids dress up in cute outfits but as those kids get older they pick more gruesome, scary costumes why do you suppose that is? Are movies and TV shows real or fantasies to a kid? Is the economy real or a fantasy to us? You see even as adults it's not clear but we need to experience and understand how to tell the difference...we will still be scared in a haunted house as adults even though we know it's not real

@MrGotyouto --- You're correct..... It depends on how to handle and fortitude and personality of the person being scared. You as an example might be more cautious of the things that scared you in the past but have a clear mind to not be paranoid that the future may have many good things and we outweigh the bad. Most of us seek being scared under controlled conditions the roller coaster as a good example. To not fear anything would make us naïve and go down a path that could be catastrophic

While you see no amusement in scaring children I just got back from a theme park this weekend that had a huge Halloween scare fest. Many extremely haunted "houses" .. no height limit so that means no age limit either. As you grow old you be scared of the, IRS, your boss, terrorist and pretty much anyone that drives on the road. The only problem is these demons are not fictitious.
@Repobrain, not always. couple years ago I scared a 20yo punk in a haunted house, he screamed so loud & high pitched tat other workers thought Id scared a little girl lol. really funny part is he acted like Mr tough outside the house, before entering, but screamed like a little b---- & ran in a blind panic when we crossed paths inside! What makes it even better is I wasn't even wearing a scary mask or makeup at the time!!!! (EVIL)

Since the video was taken many years ago we can jump ahead and tell you that present day, he is on the honor roll, football & wrestling team. However he does shy away from dark alleys which is probably a good thing. While this scare tactic only lasted a few seconds it's important that the rest of the time you spent helping and supporting your children so they're monsters do not become real
