Vergil is easily my favorite villain/anti-villain.

His cold demeanor and sharp gaze are intimidating, and his sword skills are impressive.

I can think of why he does what he does to Dante, being so seemingly heartless to his own brother. They ARE opposites, much to Dante's dismay.

I can tell Vergil is obsessive about keeping his sword sheathed when not in use. He probably feels that way because he wants to keep it in good condition, its all he has from their father to remind him of Sparda.

Honestly I'm more convinced that Nero is a reincarnation of Sparda since in the intro when he rips off the scarecrow's blade arm and swings it back his shadow looks exactly like Sparda's figure. I dunno I would personally believe that before anything else, and seeing as how Vergil was killed (or thought to be) then his sword would be left without a master making the next person with Sparda's blood the candidate. I once had a more convincing argument but that was back when I still played DMC >>

@ZeroXXG00W0 I find it more likely that Nero was born off of a prostitute with Vergil, hence why Nero never had a mother or father and according to the novels, he was raised by Kyrie's family. If Nero really his Vegil's son, then I find it hard to believe that Vergil had a wife or ever got married, so this is possibly the last logical option... again, this is assuming that Nero really is Vergil's son.

Capcom has never confirmed that with their own words, nor has anything canon to the storyline hinted at it. It would be impossible because Dante and Virgil are 28/29 when nero is 17/18 in DMC4 which would create a serious age issue. Virgil and Nero have no relation what so ever which has been stated by Capcom, the only relation they have is Nero has yamato

@kiddfaz Yeah, it would be cool if Vergil is still alive and fighting demons in hell whitout a rest, then he will do some super-cool thing, like craft a katana from 1.000.000.000 demon's souls and will lead the demon army to destroy the human world and have his revenge. And Dante with Nero are going to stop him. What will we get: epic boss battles, epic fights, epic dialogues, epic epic, lol, and super-epic-stylish final battle.
