  • I can't do magic chain either lolol

  • I like the narration (anyhoo, LOL). Unfortunately, the work seems to be off camera some of the time.

  • why can i not get this, everything i make is inside out

  • Thank for being there for left handed people...and I have wasted so much time trying to get "that" magic circle so this chain 2 tech is wonderful!

  • Oh and also, and for people who use the chain 2 technique like she said the small hole is no big deal, but I still use the magic ring technique simply because I don't like looking at a hole at the top of my heads of amigurumi and stuff.

  • I just wanna know what brand of yarn you use

As for past comments I've noticed:

-Yes the chain 2 technique can ALWAYS be replaced by the magic ring. (I'm a magic ring user and I highly prefer it over this only cuz the holes in my chain 2 techniques always come out so big)

-I just weave my tail at the end when doing the magic ring into the doll and it comes out pretty spiffy.

  • what brand of yarn do u use

  • Great video. The "pull on tail to close up hole" tip is super helpful.

  • Ha, I was starting to think I was the only one who used this technique. I can't get the Magic Ring either, though I've tried. Chain 2 is how I start all my Ami. For the hole..as you move on you can always tug at the tail, and it should close it up more.

  • The chain two technique just does not work for me. I've tried it several times but the hole left is huge, around 1/2 an inch in diameter. Magic ring works so much better for me, and the tail really isn't a problem for me except in smaller parts where it kind of gets in the way. I usually just leave my tail on the inside and it works out fine, don't think it would unravel.

  • omg this helps sooo much thank you (n_n)y

  • oh my gosh, this is so awesome! I can't wait to try this, thanks!

  • This is great. I hate doing the magic ring thing, it was frustrating to try to learn (maybe because I'm left handed? lol)

  • It's a bit confusing watching you do it in a way that seems wrong to me, but I have a friend who's left-handed and she could use these because she finds it confusing to figure out from watching someone right handed

  • You things are adorable. I am just getting into amigurumi. I want to make my daughter a Pucca and Garu doll for her birthday in August. Then on to Hello kitty!

  • I've never attempted the magic ring, but saw it in a pattern I looked at recently. Can the chain 2 technique always be used to replace the ring? I love the recent ami vids you've posted. Thank you!
