Edited with Vegas you say? What version do you have, because I have Vegas 7.0a and it does not accept the AVCHD files (.mts format). You mention taking ALL the files from the camera, not just the .mts files?
I guess what I'm asking for here is any sort of help on getting the videos I recorded with this camera into Vegas 7.

Is this the Panasonic AG-HMC150P or a higher end model? Because I own the camera I just mentioned but it only shoots at 1080/30P D: I'd love to shot at 60P though...
@AlecBFlores and I don't mean movement blur.. The camera was shooting at high shutter speed.. crisp frames but with double image, the frames are being doubled.. Its the software.. Its has to be set properly. Vegas video does this but if you R-click the video you can set it not to re-sample. Also mismatch of video frame rate and rendering setting is also the fault many times.
and yes i've heard of several issues with the hmc150. the issue seems to be that once you've shot over 100 clips on the card, that any of the shots after 100 simply will not appear in the window.
the files that this camera shoots are .MTS files
when you read the card on your computer you're supposed to copy all the files on the card and not just the .mts files.
the footage is still there, and there are ways, mostly complicated, of obtaining clips after 100
haha you put gold flakelets of some kind on the cymbals during the song. Hilarious. How many takes? BTW the HMC fucking rules. Do you use an intel i7 for editing?
haha yeah. i just figured out the right settings to get rid of that ghosting effect too, it looks way sick and since it was shot in 60p i can slow it down to 40% without loosing frames at a 24p playback rate

yep. this was shot on a 32gig card which can get you up to about 200 minutes of footage

yeah, for some reason i couldn't get the settings right in mpeg format. i had to go with wmv (then the ghosting appeared)
just imagine how it originally looks!
