I had a scary event when i was on an elevator...

Was on the 15th floor needed to go to 18th and I pressed the button (5 of us on the elevator) and instead of going up we fell very fast to the 3rd floor before it slowed and began rising....i thought the cables had snapped and we were free falling....so creepy.

We already hit the talk button and let the building supervisor know what was going on. We did not want to sit there for the next hour with the alarm going off. We actually did not get the idea to start filming until after around 25 min or so.

I was once stuck in an elevator for about 19-20 hours in my old apartment building. Ill tell you good thing that my neibor was just coming back from the market and we had alot of food and water. After the first shock its acctuly quite funny and fun.

Since you could see the outer door on th elevator you could have put your hand on a latch to unlock the door. It's the same thing that the elevator does with a motor on the outside of the door.
