It wasn't even really a series. They made 14 episodes, which were broadcast intermittently over 5 years. But I don't know why they stopped. Not that I really mind.

the only reason i could find was Rowan himself was getting too old, and felt he was loosing his ability to play Mr. Bean. He decided to end it with his two films.

I do wish He did more episodes.
