This is a real neat trick. I have used the formula for separating first and last names but the 2nd formula with the text and money values is useful to know. I remember when I had to do the reverse and Separate First Name and Last Name that were in the same cell. Fortunately your website came up with the good and a fantastic search formula to separate the First and Last names into separate cells. Great neat little tip as always.

hi , my excel box just remains with the formulas inside without combining them(meaning i jus see =D2&" "&E2) can u help me??

@TheMrComic The cell is probably formatted as Text.
Change it to General format, then select the cell and press the F2 key, to edit the cell
Press Enter, to recalculate the cell, and it should show the formula result.
