The fact that Obama stuck with the church for so long under somebody like Rev. Wright does raises some questions about the true intent in Obama.

In the speech, he pointed out that the Rev didn't mention the things he did on TV. What impresses me the most is that Obama didn't pounce on Rev Wright to dissociate from him. Rather, he embraced him as a unhealed part of American history just as white people who hold racist views. In my opinion, this takes tremendous courage and understanding.
