yeah tong chigong is basically yoga. and yoga is a chigong wich just means energie work. or lifeforcework. i don't claim to know a satisfactory translation for qi.
big parts of this exercise are stolen from yoga and called qigong, like so many things in china are stolen from the indian source and covered with new names.
I'm not too familiar with Qigong but the movements look very similar to the Surya Namaskar movements/ exercise in Yoga. I wonder if Qigong developed from Yoga!?
well, it's not black and white but basically..buddhism comes from yoga(buddhist monks are really just yogi's but more organized)
bodhidharma was an indian buddhist monk who taught the chinese buddhist monks what eventually became tai-chi and qigong and zen meditation...it just took form based on the culture..
all in all, bodhidharma was the reason kung fu came into being apparently
its a sortof surya namaskar (sun salutation) with some free inturpretation of the artist

This is Yoga, it isn't Qi Gong. The title is misleading.

This is Hatha Yoga he is performing.
He is also a master of Qigong.
Yet Qigong (tao yoga) and Hatha Yoga have the same foundation principles at the core :
