Emma is soooo good at this accent! Obviously I prefer her real accent, but she's really good. Alan can say anything in any accent and it's gold, though I could kinda hear his Brit coming out. :P

I am a HUGE Alan fan but...sadly, I had to stop the clip because of their accents. I thought it would be adorable because anything he touches (and especially with Emma) is gold. But I couldn't do it. I'm very sad to say I've lost interest in this film because I'm not sure I could listen to it without cringing! *sigh* I still love you Alan. Not even a silly accent can change it. ^_^

As an American from the southern United States, I can say with authority that these accents are ... poorly executed. But I think it's beyond fair to consider this payback for Kevin Costner's American accent in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. We had it comin', y'all!

This is one of my favorite movies. Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson are a great couple in movies. I've loved every movie starring both of them; my favorite scene in Judas Kiss has Rickman whacking this guy's casted foot with a golf club to extract information from him.
