This song is just ludicrously heavy, it makes me laugh...in a good way. Not a week goes by that I don't listen to this song at least a half dozen times. Just a ridiculously heavy riff and that bass sound rules!
Actually as the seculars have shown even if Jesus hadn't of come to supposedly divide the world, the seculars would have divided it with their hate anyway.
i must agree with lucid on this one. im a christian but immnot an ass about it and if u can reach the masses through your music then great u should do so. if not then find your calling and go for it. but this band pwns and heavy metal 2000 is awesome.
Indeed. I used to be somewhat of friends with Josh Brown (vocalist - day of fire/full devil jacket) - until he was attacked by religious people and conerted. He then told his fans and his band that they were just too "sick" and "wounded" by the devil to be important enough for him.
If you think about it, you essentially have someone who divided his world in hopes to heal it. He passed judgment and became a hypocrite.
It' a sad story and great example of the power of religous money-men!!

sadly, I must agree. I actually confronted the vocalist with this rationalism:
IF you believe there is a God and he wants good to be done on earth, through you, then doesn't it make sense to go where you are truly needed rather where you were originally spiritually incepted? He reached more "sick/wounded" people as he called the, through his metal band and I believe he could have been a positive force, much like the band TOOL.
he reached more people with his devil band because its so incredibly easy to go through wide gates of hell..while few take the narrow gates to heaven...i do like full devil jackets sound a bit more than day of fires though they sound more metal day of fire sound more classic rock..
Did he really reach more people? Stastics and human observation would demonstrate otherwise. Although, how can we ever truly know? IF the creator works in mysterious ways - then perhaps there is nothing to be judged here?
But if that isn't always the case, then we can argue that Josh was a better served tool, still today, a potentially better served tool for the sick and wounded, the sinners - but he must walk amongst them like Christ - only then can he truly heal them.

As far as I know Full Devil Jacket had only one *official* music video and that was for Blue Green Day. Good luck finding it because I have had no luck. :-(
