wow this dosnt help me at all. I can ollie just as high or higher when i have my front foot right up to the bolts and my whole back foot on the tail then when i have my front foot backed up and only the tip of my foot on the tail

BEST TIPS: pop as hard as you can. jump as high as you can. throw your arms up and a out to sorta pull your jump up and give some sability. as you reach the apex of the jump remember this MOST IMPORTANT tip... KNEES TO NIPPLES... knees to nipples. then when done judo kicking the piss out of the nose, remember to sqare your front foot especialy and/or both feet back toward the boltz... haha... then fall/land.

WRONG technique, watch mark gonzales, he had it wright 20 years ago.

The trick is not to move your knee up, but rotate your hip so your front foot goes quickly from the board, much quicker then moving your knee up.
