is there a way to just replace the door instead of the door and the frame?

@isahir2 You can buy and order doors with and without the jamb in ANY size you like! Pre-hung is easier to do because the hardware is in place where it needs to be. With a little time and good measures you can hand a "slab" door in your existing jamb.
