@LucienNeff, I am an Indian from Bangalore and I have a few gay friends (a few of them are from Brahmin families) and none of them have been disowned. Parents took some time to accept their sexuality yes, but there was not much drama involved. This is not to say that the picture is completely rosy here and gays do not face any problems. Probably, my friends lucked out in terms of great parents :)

@LucienNeff, I am an Indian from Bangalore and I have a few gay friends (a few of them are from Brahmin families) and none of them have been disowned. Parents took some time to accept their sexuality yes, but there was not much drama involved. This is not to say that the picture is completely rosy here and gays do not face any problems. Probably, my friends lucked out in terms of great parents :)

it's funny I have never came across a gay indian man, i mean I'm Syrian + Indian and gay, but I have always wanted to come across a gay Indian man. I know if a gay Indian man ever came out gay, in the Indian society they would disown you from the family, some would kill you.

Very true, I wish people would stop despising homosexuals (I am not homosexual myself, but I have a lot of gay friends). It is believed that while the foetus is in the womb, a decrease in testosterone will produce a more feminine baby, whilst an increase will produce a more masculine baby.

There are no such things as tops and bottoms, its just a silly role play. To me they seem to be just gay, or what some may call versatile. Playing an exclusive role is rather dull and obviously insufficient on the long term.

There is no such thing as an exclusive bottom, only those who are biologically or psychologically impotent, too small, or in the best case transsexuals who are disgusted by their own penis and its use.
There are no such things as exclusive tops, only pathetic scared little virgins, who fear that being penetrated will emasculate them. The doorman is a good example. Both are the childish imitations of heterosexual gender roles, and as such, pitiful.

No it's not, i have watched EVERY episode of Brothers and Sisters and the only similarity is that the characters are gay, and on quite a few Brothers and Sisters episode clips that have been posted on youtube you have left Homophobic comments saying that being gay is wrong and stuff, so it seems to me that you must watch alot of gay storyline clips and you can't make up your mind weather your homophobic or not! One minute you say being gay is wrong then you show interest in the gay storylines??!
