  • On one of his TV broadcasts, Dr Stanley preached that the only way into Heaven is through accepting Jesus as your saviour?

  • On his TV broadcast, Stanley gave an example of himself bringing a dead person back to life. I thought that was pretty incredible, but when he said, "This was the first occasion that this happened to me," I wondered how many other times has he brought the dead back to life?

  • Charles Stanley is a dangerous heretic who teaches once-saved-always-saved. Many former born-again Christians are burning in Hell right now because of Stanley's demonic OSAS teachings. They thought that because they were born-again, that they could sin and get away with it because Charles Stanely taught them OSAS. Do not be deceived...the Bible teaches ALL sinners, including sinning hypocrite Christians, will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

  • @shiphrahhopeful How can you loose something you never had to earn in the first place.

  • @George0025 The Bible clearly teaches that, many get saved, but afterwards fall away (Lk. 8:13; Jn. 6:66; 1 Tim. 1:19; etc.). In other words, after initial salvation we must endure to the "end" to enter the kingdom of God and escape the lake of fire (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11).

  • He is my favorite handsdown. I listen to others but he teaches.

  • This guy is divorced - a sin. What were the grounds? Cruelty? Adultry?

  • @HymieG1 wow, i am sure you are sinless.

  • @HymieG1 It was His wife's decision to divorce, sometimes it is not our choice but anothers choice. I am divorced, that was not my choice either, but my ex wife's choice.

  • @HymieG1 His wife told him to give up his ministry or she would divorce him, he said I wasn't going to do it, and she chose the latter.

  • Why is there confusion in the comments on this video? If you listen to Dr. Stanley, everything he says has a scriptural basis. Instead of arguing with each other, let's work to get closer to God. Let's work to understand the depth of Jesus's love for us. I am listening to this particular message now because I am being tempted. Please pray that I can be strong enough to resist. Spend less time arguing and more time praying for each other.

  • do not i repeat do NOT flirt with impure thoughts,,,please people, pleeeeeeeeeease!

  • For those of you who do not agree with Dr. Stanley, I will pray for you, because he is one of the absolute few in today's world who is still preaching the goodness and love of God and Scripture as it should be taught! And...he uses Scripture to back up every point he makes! God bless you all! :)

  • I listened to you in prison on my radio, still look forward to your sermons.

  • Even tho I don't agree with Dr Stanley on the gifts of the spirit b.c I know they still exist and have experienced them myself , he's one of the few people who help me when I'm struggling . God uses him in such a wonderful way to reveal his word .

  • Mr Stanley has sight Our battle is for the mind,Jesus teachings are more then enough to know our God and his relationship with mankind

  • This guy has sight

  • this is much too short, aren't there any full length Charles Stanley sermons on youtube? I have been listening to Charles Stanley since the mid 90's when I first became saved. He is the only one who I can listen to who doesn't bore me, put me to sleep or confuse me. Well actually his son is awesome too, Andy Stanley is just as blessed at preaching as his dad, God bless him, I am so thankful for his sermons.

  • The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

  • What's the point of focusing on purity?? There is no guarantee in this world of a second life not to mention eternal. Faith is a sham.

  • @kyleNEVER if you would like evidence of Jesus pray for it. The Bible promotes questions. In the bible there was a story about Thomas he didn't believe Jesus and instead of condemning that person Jesus took his hand and put it in his wound. Jesus will show himself to you if you pray for it. b4 i was saved God showed Jesus to me in a way that only I could understand and he promises to do the same for anyone who asks. I will pray for you and everyone else who is struggling with this.

  • He shame the money-mad vatican and pope in the shade

  • I hated Catholic Ireland, so mean, so critical, so hypocritical, so nasty, thank god for immigration and my U.S. citizenship! When I hear Charles Stanley, I hear his love, his kindness, his steadfastness, his manly order in Christ Jesus. thank god for Dr. Charles Stanley.

  • Very true. God bles you

  • true, true, true

  • He's a good role model for spiritual leaders.

  • He is the most Godly person I know.

  • dont let my youtube name fool you i beleive in god and trust in him.that aside,i have these tempting thoughts all the time.sometimes i act on them other times i ask for gods help.what would happen if the rapture comes and im acting on one of these thoughts, even tho in my heart i know its wrong and dont want to think them anymore?

  • charles stanley,is an amazing preacher,i use to watch him on foxtel, but i am not sure what time he is on,god bless you stanley.you open my eyes so many times.

  • God bless. :)

  • If whole churches in the world have same preachers as DR Stanley not only all christians will live a holy life but whole word will be touched by the gospel of Christ !

Blesses is everyone who listen and put into practice what God teach us throw DR Stanley !

For me it`s not DR Stanley preaching but it`s Jesus in him preaching to us ! Thanks God for him

  • Stanley is the only worthwhile preacher on TBN. It is infested with crooks and frauds, but this guy correlates extremely well the messages of the Bible to everyday life. I just hope he does not become materialistic like the rest of those scum, as he exhibits great intellect and presents some very important points.

  • Good post!...I completely agree about your thoughts on TBN.

  • I have 2 agree with you for the most part, i wouldnt say all but majority of them have been corrupted by the love of money. There is one other guy i quite enjoy is Joseph Prince form singapore a young asian preacher he's amazing also. His message is the message of radical grace, ive never heard anyone preach Grace like this powerful. Im supprised tbn even features Pastor Joseh Prince if you havent heard of him yet check him on youtube like stanley he always blesses me undeniably.

  • @4thandinches Stanley is nested with the unclean and hateful birds at TBN (the blasphemy netw). His once-saved always saved teaching is the first lie Satan to man: "Ye shall not surely die if you disobey God". Stanley once said "You can't sin and live like the devil down here and get away with it, brother, noooo you will LOOOSE REWARDS. You may not lose your salvation, but there's a whole lot to lose by sinful living, brother". He's saying you CAN live like the devil and go to heaven doing it!

  • @LivingFaith2 - I find some errors in your reasoning. . . When we accept the gift of God's grace do we cease sinning? Based on your argument if someone who is saved commits a sin that person is damned to hell. If that is the case no one will go to Heaven. The beauty of grace is that while we were still sinners Christ died for us! Paul said that he did the things he did not want to do. There are consequences for sin, but anyone who repents of his sin will be forgiven because God is faithful.

  • @LivingFaith2 - The Prodigal Son is a perfect example of this.

  • @4thandinches Jentezen Franklin is a great preacher too on TBN.

  • @4thandinches I totally agree with you brother, TBN is full of money hungry, self proclaiming idiots... but pastor charles stanley is the only true man of God.... Amen

  • Although I disagree with Stanley's calvinism, this is very practical teaching. Many Baptist preachers say that Christians sin because they have 2 natures. Not once have I heard those who taught on it ever mention TEMPTATION. They don't even give instruction on how to deal with temptation, thinking it is 'works'. Here,Stanley shows temptation is the occasion of sin and gives instruction that it ought to be resisted & HOW to resist it. GOOD message! Sin CAN be resisted. SIN is not inevitable.

  • It cut off at the end? Was there anymore to this sermon cause I was really enjoying it.

  • God bless Dr. Charles Stanley.

  • Thank you so much for posting this video! Charles Stanley truly teaches God's word and I feel strengthened this morning by this audio! God Bless!

  • It is just a question of will and faith in God.

How many times will it needs for those of you to understand that everything you need is in Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life. He said :"No one comes to the Father except through me."

When you are tempted, just ask Jesus to help you to chase thoses ideas out of your mind!

"...so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. " - Jesus

God want us more than anything to be free. He will help you... if you ask !

    God bless

  • I feel God has warn me about Porn but i try so hard not to have in pure thoughts but i keep getting them, i try to get into the word of God but my flesh want to kill me. but im a child of GOd so i must kill me sinful thinking

  • I will soon be posting a video on the temptation of pornography which has so many Christians bound in its evil chains...Please continue to stay strong in our Father God, and I will let you know as soon as I post that video...Thank you for watching and for your wonderful comment...God bless!

  • Can you let me know too-I need help!

  • Of course brother, I promise that I will let you know the second that I post that video which will uploaded before the weekend is done (God willing)...Thank you for your comment as well, and may God bless you my dear friend.

  • Someone should get together to wipe out pornography totally. You might be the one.

  • @sdm84 i'll join that fight my brother/sister in christ! :)

  • @sdm84///We would start by getting prayer back in the schools. Term limits and EVERYONE being proactive politically.

  • @l2duis thanks for this video

  • No problem BoneCrusha, may God continue to bless you brother.

  • Good for him for hosting Newt. We are already seeing how this new president regards issues of faith and God. Not much at all. He doesn't care one bit about what is important to Christians. Obama is a disaster for people of faith.

  • i enjoy charles and his magazine but i was sorely dissapointed over the hour long stage he gave to Newt Gingrich as he made an address that had nothing to do with Christ and everything to do with changing the outcome of the 08 election. Newt is dirty and Stanley should know better than to have anything to do with him

  • Charles stanley is the man I remember listening to him with my mom as a child, 27 yo man now and i still listen to him. He's very direct and to the point, one of the most discerning men of God i know.

  • this guy is my favorite person on the planet!

  • search biblegateway, EXCELLENT website, i am unable to list the link for some reason

  • Acts 9:7 (New King James Version)

7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.

Acts 22:9 (New King James Version)

9 And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid,[a] but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me.

Two verses from the same book with directly contradictory accounts. Inerrant? We can all agree NOT.

  • (continued from previous post)

My point here is not that his writings are more truthful than the rest of scripture, but that he would not even leave something which appears to be an obvious contradiction. In other words, I do not think that his original audience would have thought he was contradicting himself. I believe that something is going on in the original language which alludes us and does not come through in our translation (BTW, the New Testment was written in Greek, not Hebrew).

  • (post continues...)

The best explanation I have found is in the Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties by Gleason L. Archer. An excerpt from his discussion is as follows: . . . In the original Greek, however, there is no real contradiction between these two statements. Greek makes a distinction between hearing a sound as a noise (in which case the verb "to hear" takes the genitive case) and hearing a voice as a thought-conveying message (in which case it takes the accusative).

  • (post continues some more...)

Therefore, as we put the two statements together, we find that Paul's companions heard the Voice as a sound (somewhat like the crowd who heard the sound of the Father talking to the Son in John 12:28, but perceived it only as thunder); but they did not (like Paul) hear the message that it articulated. Paul alone heard it inteligibly (Acts 9:4 says Paul ekousen phonen--accusative case); though he, of course, perceived it also as a startling sound at first

  • (still posting...) (Acts 22:7: "I fell to the ground and heard a voice [ekousa phones] saying to me," NASB). But in neither account is it stated that his companions ever heard that Voice in the accusative case. -- Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties, by Gleason L. Archer, p. 382.

Archer goes on to cite sources indicating that this distinction does indeed exist in the Greek language. "

This would seem to explain the apparent discrepancy.

  • We need more men like this! Brave and bold and speaks the truth.

  • Can you define the term lust? Does it include fantasizing? If you just look at a girl that turns you on without following her or bothering her, is that considered lust?

  • umm..well, i think you should know the difference between lust and attraction. There is nothing wrong with thinking the opposite sex is attractive, because attraction means thinking and liking someone who has qualities you like about them and would like to get to know better (something about them makes you want to become a better person). lust however, is like wanting to touch them, wondering what they'd be like to kiss/touch, etc. and soon, lust overpowers the thoughts and images you get

  • i mean..its natural to feel turned on by the opposite sex - however it only gets bad when you start to ENCOURAGE those thoughts. Rather than admiring her for who she is as a person, if you fantasize and are fixated about things like what she may look like undressed, or what she'd be like to touch, etc. you begin to picture her as an object and you begin to covet her, and its not something that would glorify God.

  • I admit I have a habit of fantasizing girls. Occasionally undressed ones and frequently girls in shorts while I look at them in my mind. Looking at all parts of them. Or particular parts of them (while they're dressed). I usually ask God for forgiveness for my habit. The part about fantasizing girls in shorts, is that considered lust?

  • I would say that it might be a better idea to ask God to direct your mind to be in line with His purpose and how he looks at men and women, instead of committing the sin then seeking for forgiveness. God really desires for us to deal with the issue that causes us to sin as this is like the saying 'cutting the tree at the root'. Amen
