Its from the beginning of Cathedral, he is using an effects pedal and playing chords. It actually not terribly hard to play. Its not easy either but its not the not the most complex piece Eddie has written. 5150, eruption, Spanish fly, are all more complex, then again once you got the a solid foundation of taping and scale work, Spanish fly and eruption aren't so hard to play. They seem daunting but they are not impossible to play.
Um I 'm not entirely sure but I believe he is using an MXR chorus pedal, I think all of Eddie's effects pedals are part of the MXR line (made by Jim Dunlop) But none of his pedals were distortion pedals despite popular belief, all of his distortion was always made by his amps, I.E Marshal Plexi-head, Soldano SLO100, Peavey 5150, 5150-2, and now the new Fender 5150-3.

Ill admit yngwie is fast and hard to copy but he doesnt have many different licks. It seems that once you can sweep a little and play inversion of an A hamonic minor scale at 220 or so bpm you can play whatever yngwie can come up with. I was amazed with yngwie when I was a beginner. When I stated to anylize his songs though its seems as time went on he ran out of licks. All he does is that damn diminshed inversion from high to low anymore.
when a guitarist gets to a level where he can play this most of jimi's stuff is a cakewalk but yngwies stuff is still a challenge perhaps because its just a different style of play not better in my opinion.

what amazes me is that funky tuning technique he does at 4:20, the guy knows the guitar inside and out.

I don't see Eddie letting Dave back in the band. All is not lost though. Forget the six released studio LP's with Dave. I'm talking about the rare demos and GREAT music they wrote from 1974-1977 before they became famous! Can't find it or never heard of it? Don't worry! joeygeee: it's called a palm harmonic, well, that's what I call it. Do a fast pulloff riff repeatedly with your left hand and slide the palm of your hand down your strings.

running, jumping etc and playing that as if were so easy, he is just amazing and unbelievable and this like 2 decades ago ? (1986 with Hagar it looks like?) , no one in the histroy of the universe can compare to his performances, is he possibly the returned christ ? (just joking)
I love Yngwie! , but he doesnt even come close to the feeling I get when I watch and hear EVH, no one does (SRV gets close but)
