I think the next book is called the Spook's Sacrifice. It might have already came out. The next book that comes out in the US is called Clash of the Demons. That comes out on 4/28/09. There is a small summary on the Harper Collins website.
There is also a book that is about the series but not actually part of it. It is called The Spook's Tale and it's about what happens before the series. That comes out on April 28. There is also The Wardstone Witches coming out October of 2009. And The Spook's Bestiary coming out in the winter of 2010.
I just know that the film comes out in 2011. IMDB has that it's in the development stage, but unfortunatly that doesn't garanty the movie will be made. Apparently sometimes films don't make it past this stage. Fingers crossed!

yea i know i lookd that up, and well idk it just doesnt seem to be the type of book capable of movie, like the suspense seems to last forever, but in real time its only a few seconds
oh no doubt id see it, but theyd be putting in like actual boggart attacks and ghasts and other ghosts than the one in the spooks house, because they do lessons, writing down in a book, exciting, and then theres all this other stuff that just wouldnt be good for movies and yea theyd drop it all and itd just ruin it
Maybe one of the other books would make a better movie. The part in the first one that would be all right for a movie is the part with mother malkin. The movie might not be so good but I qould still see it because I'm a fan of the books.
