Ever thought about putting the ranch in some bread crumbs and doing it like u did the munchy crunchy chicken. I think i might try that but was the ranch salty.
I like the stuffing idea as coating. I'm not a big fan of ranch dressing on meat, salads only. I could probably be persuaded to try it with a dry Italian dressing mix instead however

ding ding ding....an idea has poped into my head.
How about instead of using the brown gravy mix, using a packet of the ranch dressing mix and doing the rest of the recipe...the egg, then then stuffing mix. Think that might add a little different zing to it? I'm just sayin.... LOL
I definitely want to try this, but perhaps with boneless/skinless breasts.
The crunhcy muchy chicken looks really good. Reminds me of a chcken recipe I've got that uses a mix of croutons and Ritz crackers the same way this one uses the stuffing mix. I've also tried a few different ranch coatings and never have been really excited about the outcome.
I always like the way you critique things, with the ranch rating a "feh" and the crunchy getting a "killer." It eliminates guesswork.
