it's funny how many great legendary Grind bands ended up in the power violence scene because Death metal people didn't get it or give them a chance. Power violence was special in cali because it was a rebellion on the cookie cutter metal and hardcore scene. I just you just had to be there. This was another show that was worth the long drive LA/ Bay Area Power violence connection forever!
No it shouldn't be what Szaam said, it should be, "keep the dumbass people who can't appreciate music away from good music." It does seem like metalheads are uptight when it comes to music, but not all metalheads hate different types of music. I like metal a lot, but I like punk & it's sub-genres, but I also like other forms of music, such as Jazz, Funk, Country etc. all the other stuff. My point is, don't block off a whole genre of music, unless it's techno, because you miss a lot of talent.
Great music, true underdog legends, but it's a good thing the whole crowd was drunk or everyone would have lost interest from all the stalling the band's doing. Over half the video!
nice that i discovered powerviolence. there was something that i didnt like about grindcore and i found out it was the metal influence. i fucking hate cookie monster vocals. if i have a band i will make one powerviolence song, but just one cuz i wanna play surf. nice video.
yeah dude you obviously dont know shit about music. just because you love death metal, doesn't mean you can't like other music too. I love metal in all it's forms (Thrash and death metal reign supreme in my mind however), but i ALSO love grind, (REAL)hardcore, power violence, punk...whatever dude. Just cuz they don't have long hair and don't windmill, doesn't mean theyre pussies. get a fucking life other than being a youtube troll, and stop being such a close minded prick.
Its called Power Violence.... whats so pussy about that? Maybe if you would take your head out of your ass and expand beyond death metal, you'd know something about what your criticizing.
Spazz, forget about the rest. Stick with Spazztard noise or.. You will die maaan..

real hardcore is good. none of the mainstream BS that is labeled 'hardcore'. i think you should expand your musical interest a little bit
