Let me preface this response by saying that when I go to Walmart it is to buy groceries. If I go downtown to buy my groceries they are more expensive and call their stuff high-end. As an artist I spend a majority of my money online to buy bulk. My job is not to keep small businesses in business, it is the entrepreneur's problem, come up with something better!

A garbage economy drove me to work at Wal-Mart. I have a college education and I get paid 7.50/hr at lovely Wal-Mart. For anyone that doesn't believe Wal-Mart is garbage, they raise money for charity often times through ASSOCIATE giving, not necessarily corporate donations. They cut ALL associate's hours because of maybe a 3% drop in sales from last year. They write up department managers for clocking out 3 minutes late. They blame NICE WEATHER for a drop in sales, and wish for bad weather.
