  • fantastic

  • Awesome track thx for posting!!! Great jive to it!

  • A very dark tight heavy song

  • Isn't this a Prashant track?

  • @gordieman Featuring Prashant Aswani

  • Good track but...I'll be honest, it bothers me a little that a lot of the solo parts here don't really have much significance to that groove riff underneath, doesn't seem to be in the same key half the time. I'm sure he did that on purpose but still

  • @csplendrig Try listening to it from a "harmonization" perspective. Like a lot of Greg's stuff, this one is replete with shreading that includes a nice dose of music theory (i.e. tritone substitution, super-imposing whole-toney and diminished licks over minor chords). Scott Henderson does a lot of that also. They both keep it relateable to a wider listening audience, by staying "bluesy", raw and emotive (i.e. mixing bends into the legato phrasing).

  • very nice... ill add to my collection o.O

  • Heavy stuff...riffs...like Vikings on their ships....looking for land to conquer...wow...fantastic !

  • this is Greg's more depressive riff....

  • the guitar speaks your language ***

  • those riffs are gnaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrlyyyyyyyy!!!!!! sick playing from the howester

  • howe good howe awesome

  • One question: If i had a swamp ash body guiat with a maple neck and f-board and threw in a couple of dimarzio Breed humbuckers in there...would I get Greg howe's tone or atleast close to it?

  • @sensational1982 85% of the sound is the amp/effects configuration. So, not really.

  • @sensational1982 the guitar parts do play a huge part in tonality, pickups are definitely a good start, not as sure on the wood types, but after the pickups I would look at the pedals greg howe uses if you want to get his tone.

  • SUUUUUPEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

  • Aswani plays half the solos, but I don't recall if he's coming out of the left or right channel (speaker)

  • Great!

  • Very few guitarists could make a simple track like this absolutely smoke. Greg Howe rules!

  • he could play for megadeth

  • LOL

  • @sneijder023 ...more like Megadeth could play for him.

  • @sneijder023 or magadeth could play with him.

  • @sneijder023 haha, he'd be wasted in that band

  • @sneijder023 megadeth could play for him

  • This song makes me envsion a slow heavy freight train pulling uphill.

  • @gebass6

The only time you'll enjoy the 6 minutes it takes for the train to clear the crossing ;-)

  • @spectapiece Some, like me,enjoy them regardless. That's why this reminds me of a heavy train.Because I enjoy the sight and sounds.

  • NICE VERY VERY NICE HOWESOME 4RILLA

  • is this a song that has writted by Alex Geddy and Neil P. of Rush and Greg Howe?

  • No, but on this album, Howe does a cover version of Rush's "La Villa Strangiato".

  • haha dude it sounds a ton like rush though. thats probably why i like the dude.

  • On this song Prashant aswani is also playing with greg Howe.

  • clearly no

  • Check prashant aswani revelation cd he has this song.and if you google it you will see yourself that greg howe have played in that cd in 3 songs.check it

  • Aswani is playing the right channel of the trade offs. Awesome song.

  • You guys are correct, Aswani plays (a student of Howe) plays on this track. Julien is wrong.

  • ok, have check out u right guys, but what does exactly Aswani play ?

  • Great Song!!!!!

    One of it's best...

  • Heavy, plodding shredfest. . . Great song. . .

  • Howe is just better than all other shreders. He can play fusion, rock, pop, can writte classical stuff....simply amazing he is!

  • what about Guthrie Govan?

  • thats a good one!

thyre both so good, too good to say whos better

  • Howe is the original/legend.

  • Guthrie Govan grow up listen to Greg Howe music!!

Greg Howe is a guitar legend!!!

  • @julneojazz Guthrie like all the new guitarists I think to Andy James are technically totally awesome. But I guess none of them will never play sth like this track. I mean Greg playing is unique. This guy is insane in his head! This track must be one of the most beautiful and weird I have never heard...

  • this song is sick!!!!!

  • I think Howe is the most valuable guitar player

  • greg howe is the shit! i dig all of his music
