  • By giving credit to this great singer you take nothing away from others...ie...Jim Reeves, Charlie Pride, Charlie Rich, or women like Dolly, Patsy, Tammy, and even other genres. Frank Sinatra, Al Martino, Debbie Reynolds, Eddie Fisher, Ella, Bessie, Nat King Cole, Dinah Washington etc.... Thank you for posting, I like them all.

  • Yes, thank you for all the "marty" clips you posted - such a wonderful voice

  • Quite possibly the best song ever written. Bravo Marty Robbins....and all us women want to be Carmen now....sigh.....

  • Thankyou so much for your kind comments. Marty was unbelievably talented; not only a great singer with the most beautiful of voices, but also he had an outstanding songwriting ability. His stage performances were pretty dynamic and there'lll never be another like him.

  • thanks tarquin, for all the 'marty' clips you post.

I happen to think that Elvis made many brilliant recordings during his career as did Marty, so just enjoy them both.
