Talking about the cover itself, it isn't flawless, but still is good.

There are few mistakes, the tremolo picking in the intro riff isn't perfect, these is a wrong power chord in the chorus, the pinch harmonics don't sound that good, and for the solo, tapping is quite wrong, and sweeping can be better, but i don't blame you for that, i can't do sweeping at all :(

However, this video is old so the guy must be a lot better now, you just have to check his newer covers :)

@Horror562 It's not Drop C, it's Standard D, same as Drop C, except for the low C string which is not dropped so from low to high you have : D G C F A D ^^

And yes if you're new to playing Metal this will be hard, you must learn how to properly play gallops ryhtms patterns, these are very oftenly used in every genre of Metal (except for Doom and Black, i can't remember of a gallop riff in these two genres...). Gallops are when you play two sixteenth notes and an eighth note, and repeat that ;)
