I'm glad to hear a Muslim admit that Mohammed used violence...funny, when I read the NT, I don't see Jesus teaching that His disciples should use violence against non-believers. Jesus used a whip to drive dishonest merchants from His temple, but nobody died and nothing is claimed as booty.

Sura 48 also talks about Allah promising booty to those who would submit to him, in verses 19 and 20. Sounds like bribery to me...

Here are two Quran quotes that are bad in in any context:“Take not the Jews and Christians for friends ... slay the idolaters [infidels] wherever ye find them. ...Fight against those who ... believe not in Allah nor the Last Day” (Sura 5:51; 9:5,29,41). Quran 33:50 – “Prophet, We have made lawful to you … the slave girls whom Allah has given you as booty.” There are many more like that.

it is not out of context. It perfectly suits the context. Those verses are used by islamic terrorists to support their acts. whether muslims accept it or not. Koran promotes hatred towards other religions. Mohammed sighned a 10 year no war treaty (Hudaibia) with Meccans then two years later sneaked up on them with 10,000 jihadis and attacked.

The verses are revelation enough. If you see a non-Muslim who is FIGHTING against you, as in trying to kill/destroy/berate the Islamic community, then it is a commandment by Allah to kill them, UNLESS if they (non-Muslims) want peace then we are NOT allowed to damage a single hair on them and rather, be peaceful towards them.
