Sublime Sublime Sublime..sad that COX basically dissolved after Twist of Shadows and Phoenix. All subsequent Ronny Moorings projects proved to be substandard by a mile and really the band should have been renamed. Pieter and Anke were two thirds of Xymox and when they departed all later releases could not hold a candle.

This is my favorite COX song. I like this version the most because of the instrumental build up after the "I'm twisted in these streets" part. When done live, he sings over that part (4:07) and brings in the "I'm shivering, I quiver" sooner. The original is best, but I've been lucky enough to have heard it in person 3 times and loved it.

Now this is the best version, the original. I hate how Ronny changed the last part when he used to scream out "Louise, Louise, Looooouuuuiiiiisssseeeee" (unless I am mistaken and that's Peter singing here). I miss Clan of Xymox when it was Ronny and Peter instead of Ronny's "I've got a famous Goth band name and a bunch of studio backup members in Goth clothing, so lets play electonic music instead of Darkwave like we used to."

Whatever the genre, it is my top album of all time. A lot of people prefered the self-titled debut but this one is so beautifully dark and depressing - perfect for high school. Theme 1, Louise, and Back Door are THE BEST!!!
