  • I could have used that wrapping technique after I washed my mini twists lol

  • I am going to do the same thing as peachcam! I can't wait for the weekend so that I can get started on my daughters hair! This will be perfect for us!

  • A friend of mine told me to check your channel out. I am going to go home today and whip up some of your shea butter daily cream and save myself a ton of money. Also, I am going to try the mini twist on my and my daughter's hair...wish me luck!

  • I did the flip the middle to the front, but my hair is short. Therefore it was sticking up. :(

  • i think im gona start some mini twists on my hair tonight !

  • your hair looks amazing but does this work for 4b 4c hair?

  • Thanks for sharing! Your twists look amazing!

  • Seven people got tired and didnt finish their twists haha

  • @spongyrosy LOL

  • Are twists how you got your hair to grow? Is it your main style choice?

  • are mini twists how you protected your hair to get it to grow?

  • This is awesome! I will definitely be giving this a try!

  • I, too, would have never thought about wrapping my twists. You make me want to keep trying new things as I am getting frustrated with my natural hair. I have been natural since 2004 and usually do blowouts in the winter.

  • I never would have thought to wrap mini twists. What a wonderful tip. Thanks so much. I look forward to trying it!

  • lol forget it you already did a video on it :)

  • What product did you use to put the mini twists in? Your homemade sticky shea butter mix or the everyday shea mix? How long did it take for you to take them all out?

    Love your videos! Thanks!

  • @polarBEAR819 and the color is hard to determine.. :/

  • @danniv2515 the 'yellow/golden shea butter' is actually called kpangnan butter coming from the african butter tree. Real and true unrefined shea butter is ivory/off white/beige. It is not yellow/golden or milk white. Milk white shea butter is actually refined. Also, when people are selling 'yellow or golden shea butter, it is either the kpangnan butter or it is dyed. Blessings

  • @polarBEAR819 Now is the AFRICAN shea butter considered unrefined and the white shea butter is refined?? Or do they come from two different shea nuts? Been doing some research and found a website that sells unrefined butter, but it doesn't specify that it is african or white????

  • I have been having a difficult time finding plain shea butter. Does anyone haves a website that they have purchased from that they could refer me too?

  • @danniv2515 just so u know... theres AFRICAN butter then theres shea butter.. the yellow is african butter and the white is shea buttter

  • I know this is an older video but I seriously have been looking all over to find out how to make this last longer. Thank you for this vid.!

  • Would you recommend mini twists if i were a regular swimmer? :)

  • @MakeUpGeekz104 you should probably get a satin pillowcase. You can get one from Sally's

  • Wow thank you!

  • this is a great vid now i no i hve to wash and condition my hair and keep it damp... but it in braids then do the twists!

  • I love your creativity! Love watching your videos please continue.

  • i love the music, where is it from?

  • Wow! I never thought about that. Great tip! :)

  • i have mini twists in right now but it's hard to maintain because my my hair holds two completely different textures. the front has almost no curl at all and the back is very thick and curly. any suggestions.?

  • would this be a good hairstyle to go to the pool or beach?

  • Love your hair! I did mini twist a week ago...yours are so much cuter. Your hair is much thicker than mine and mine is more straight because I've been straightening for years and not wearing my hair completely natural....

  • I just started my natural hair journey...I'm transitioning from a relaxer and I'm scared to death of the big chop. I've been studying your videos. You have beautiful hair...I want my hair to look like that. Any tips?

  • you are such an inspiration. i know this sounds a lilttle crazy but I watch your vids atleast twice a week to keep me motivated. I love your hair, watching your channel as well as others has shown me the true beauty of natural African American hair.

  • I LOVE ITT!!!!! I will be trying this. So does that mean you didnt wash your hair for 4 days? Is it possible to wash your hair with the twists still intact????

  • @Jamaikangurl She has a video about how she washed them.

  • Thanks to your video I am trying mini twist for the first time. I washed my hair last night and put them in 16 box braids until dry. It made it much easier to mini twist. If this works out I plan on keeping this style as my staple style

  • Did you spray your hair with water every morning and night with the mini twists?

  • it does help, loads

  • Girrrrrl you are good!!!!! that is so CUTE and practical!

  • love it! quick question: did u trim ur hair?

  • Wow! I never thought to do wrap my twists. Very pretty. I must try this.

  • you're so innovative! :-D

  • I love your hair soo much!! Why don't mini twist work on transitioning hair??? :-(

  • Love this! Thanks for sharing these tips : )

  • wow you are so helpful!

  • i did this hair style for my hair thank u very much

  • This is great technique and i'll keep this in mind if I wear twists again.

  • has anyone ever told you that your ears are cute?

  • Great technique! I really wish I could do this with my hair but my 4z coils won't have it. Tiny twists always matt up after I wash them no matter how much I moisturize and end up looking like frizzy dreadlocks. Twisting my hair seems to make my hair cuticles lock together, but strangely that doesn't happen with plaits. Perhaps I'll try this wrapping with my next set of mini plaits. Thanks!

  • Just finished my st ists; 6 1/2 hours. *whew* Now I'm going to wrap them like you've showed us in your tutorial. I hope this works for me. :)

  • what if the hair not long enough to do that?

  • @triniasha she's totally natural in this video....actually all her videos if i'm not mistaken. Maybe you should use bobby pins at night like she does. I think that's how she gets them to stay stretched. She does the same thing in her other video where she does a mini twist tut.

  • i like that.

i liked how you wrapper had the scarf around your head.

  • Excellent Style. I like the fact that your hair did not shrink. Beautiful!!!!

  • Good tips. I want to try this. I like your channel cause its always cool to find someone with hair similar to yours that does cool stuff with it. My hair is an inch or two shorter than yours but pretty similar.

  • I love this style. Do u wash it hair? My hair is nowhere near it length but I'm going to try this. I'm 5 mths in from my mini bc. I transitioned for 11 mths with braids and then cut off the remaing inch or so of permed hair. U also have great growth.

  • I forgot that I had watched this vidoe before and wanted to take note of the wrapping you did. I will definitely put this into work with my next mini-twist adventure. How often do you wear this style in a year?

  • do the bobby pins pull on your hair at night while u sleep?

  • I Love your videos they are so easy to follow and very very helpful!

  • omg. Your hair is so springy and wonky! I love it!

  • are those twists only with your own hair or did you add hair?

  • OMG i absolutely LOVEEEE you hair!!!

  • your hair is so awesome!! I can't wait for my hair to be that long. I love doing mini twists :)

  • I do similar things when I wear my twists, but my hair texture is coarser than yours so if your interested check out my vid "How i keep my hair Twists moisturized, NO MORE DRY HAIR!!! (4B) " to see what i do to keep my hair moisturized and lasting for about eight weeks. I will admit that i like to touch up the edges on the weekends though lol Anyways great vid as usual!

  • This is great. How do you wash your hair with the TST? I am concerned that my hair will become frizzy if I wash my hair while it is in the TST style.

  • You look like you're in really good shape. I'm curious if you work out on a regular basis. I do, and I would like to keep twists in for a month at a time but I find it difficult to not wash my hair because I sweat so much during my work outs. I love your nightly routine and I think it would really work for me, I was just hoping your could offer any advice for curlies who work out.

P.S. How often do you wash your hair?

  • @Naptural85 How often did you shampoo and conditioner your hair while they were in the mini twists?

  • it looks great.

Did you shampoo/cowash/cleanse ur hair while they were in these mini twists?

  • This is awesome!!! Do you workout? I do... whats the maintance process if you're a heavy sweater?!?!?!!

  • Do you find that wearing your hair in twist grows it faster?

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VID! hi 5 girl!

  • how do you wash your twist without them coming out?

  • what product(S) did you use in your hair

  • OMG I LOVE YOUR MINI TWISTS. I WANT TO DO THAT MYSELF. I'VE GONE NATURAL FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND I NEED SOME NEW HAIRSTYLES. DID YOU DO A TUTORIAL FOR THESE?? IF NOT CAN YOU JUST TELL ME THE PRODUCTS YOU USED AND HOW LONG IT TOOK. YOU'RE AMAZING!!!!!

  • really like the video. wonderful idea esp. the bobbie pins. i'll keep this n mind. thanx! :)

  • Awesome!!! I've subcribed. Looking forward to catching up with ur vids and seeing new ones!

  • I love this video..lol. Did you blow dry ur hair first? Or did u let it air dry over night before you twisted?

  • Did you try this when your hair was a twa? I really want to try this on my mini twists but I am not sure this will work for me.

  • i really like these twists. i want to do this to my hair & as I was attempting, i thought..ah, how many days is this gonna take me? saw this vid & i'm thinking between 3-5 days cuz i know i'm gonna get tired & i don't want them to look sloppy, so i dunno for now. yours look nice though :-)

  • I notice you do mini twists a lot; do you wash them when you keep them in for a month? Another youtuber said that she washed her mini twists, and found that they started to dred up at the roots (Scary)! I've had mini twists but not for a month, I wanted to know if washing your hair while having mini twists for that long will make your roots start to lock?

  • i have twist and was wondering how do you keep length after you wash your hair lol

  • @0unhallowed0 nevermind should have watch the whole vid first

  • I love your vids but I'm just wondering, what is different about them? I notice you re-uploading them

  • I'm so loving this re-posting thing, lol... Love watching your vids :-) You're contagious girl!!! lol

  • How long does it take you to take down the twists? Do you have a technique for the take down? If so, please do a tutorial. I want to try mini twists, but I'm dreading the putting up and taking down.

  • hey ;-)

did you wash your hair at all while the twists were in?

  • Ok I'm convinced...(goes to wash hair...) Wish me luck! :-)

  • I have been reading around about hot to take care of natural hair and stuff and they say we need satin scarves for our hair or a satin pillow. I have been looking aroung but I can never seem to find it.

  • @estherni1 Sallys Beauty Supply has both! Do you have one in your area?

  • @estherni1 they have some satin pillowcases on ebay and you can find a silk or satin scarf at a family dollar store if u don't have a sallys.

  • @estherni1 SALLY has satin pillows.. you should be able to find satin scarves at bss

  • Your Twist are really pretty! Thanks for the wrapping technique
