dude id race it if i was you...... like really.. u got elka. come on and dude 2800? it worths like 4 grands no joke only the a arms and suspention worths like 2000...
I just finished rebuilding my z400,i must have changed every bearing and bush through out the bike,Which is a good tip for any of you guys buying one of these as bearings+bushes take a hammering on them,Check them all over!....Thank god for ebay for all the parts!!
@serious101102 yes that is true. i was referring to the front sprocket though. adding teeth to the front sprocket does the same thing as having fewer teeth on the rear.
Yeah I love the quad! It handles great but its not quite as fast as the 450's, which is to be expected. I would recommend this quad if you are not looking to upgrade in the future, or if you are a small rider. But overall the quad is great and I love it
@Iridered400ex ahaha what are you talking about ... clearly this guy put alot of aftermarket parts on it which he was saying in the description about 11,000 invested really clean and just by the looks you can tell he took care of it .... to buy this quad for 3,500 is a steal
hey i have a 1974 vw bug with stock sun roof would you trade no rust very clean its a street bug i have a older baja bug but its my baby and its a project give me a call at 602-332-4554
not to tain on your paraded, but i almost bought the samthing with more aftermark parts than this and he wanted a grand less, because you will never get that much out of it. And you mean 11,000 invested including the quad cause with out any engine parts it aint no 11000 invested is also to add on the suspension doesnt have much travle , just as much as my 450 stock had and my dvx has for stock suspension.
@yfz450ser yes 11,000 invested including the quad. his may have been cheaper, but not as clean and well taken care of. and actually your yfz is pulling about 9.1 inches of travel stock while the z400 is getting about 13.5 inches of usable wheel travel, not to mention valved and sprung much better with the elkas.
@monkeyspank117 If there was 11k involved in the putting together of this bike.. than all i got to say to the owner is... wanna be my new best friend? Bc i know for a fact that you can put together a full on racing motocross quad for that much if not cheaper. I'd assume that the bulk of this bikes cost came from the front end. I'm putting plus 2 a-arms and long travel elkas on the front end of my kfx 400 for around 1k.
@Kawasakikid270 all aftermarket parts were bought new so yes, the bulk of the cost came from the shocks, arms, and steering stem. The cost of the bike itself is also included in the 11k.
@QUADsK8ER97 I am Dwain's son in the video. The a-arms are definitely worth it. The quad feels much more stable with them and its a smoother ride from the added travel. I would also recommend an extended rear axle to widen the back of the quad too.
lool shoulda jsut got off the fucking thing and turned it lool
