Hey don't you guys think that it would be cool to have The new Avengers VS The Sinister 6?If they revive Doc Ock,spiderman and one partner cannot handle the Sinister 6 for a movie.I was thinking about that because his tentacles are machines and could jumpstart his heart to revive him.Otto puts together the Sinister 6 team and spiderman joins the new Avengers to face them.
But Octavious turned good at the end and sacrificed himself. Being a villain would seem to be the last thing on his mind unless they say the tentacles have completely driven him mad. And they showed him dead at the end of the second movie.
-Have the villains be Lizard and Kraven. Connors injects himself with the serum and goes on a rampage getting the attention of hunter Sergei Kravenoff who hunts Lizard. Peter knows who Lizard is and saves him from Kraven making Kraven also turn his attention to Spider-Man. Perhaps they could use the plot of Lizard trying to turn everyone else in the city into Lizardmen as the grand plan, and have an epic three way final battle. Kraven survies.
-Have the villains be Vulture and Electro. Perhaps with Adrian Toomes as the shady new head of OsCorp and Maxwell Dillon as an OsCorp employee who gets caught in an accident that turns him into Electro. Perhaps dirt is found on Toomes having shady dealing, and he becomes Vulture to cover up for himself. Perhaps an introduction to Black Cat.
-Bring back Vulture, Electro, and Kraven who were introduced in 4 and 5. Also introduce Mysterio, Shocker, and Rhino as other criminals Spider-Man has put into prison. Vulture would lead them on a plan for revenge against Spider-Man. With help from Black Cat, Spider-Man would fight them in a possible final installment.
to be fair though, the game's go into sort of their own continuity when it comes to stuff like that. I mean Scorpion's in the first Spider-Man game and he looks totally different in the third one
Indeed I am hoping for a green goblin return, green goblin 2 sucked in spiderman 3 he was such a girl.
Hopefully we see some other good villains, but it would awesome to see GG return with a new costume/body suit, and hopefully a purple cape, new pumpkin bombs and glider.
yeah they really botched his character. Venom originally lost his girl, job, apartment, and health because of spiderman. He had every reason to hate him, he was still an asshole but his behavior was more justified/enforced plus he was got ripped, (he used his hatred to weight-lifted like crazy). In the movie he was just a skinny selfish prick, no more.
Now I dont think they should do a total reboot but I do think they need to recast the main characters. I recently watched Spiderman 3 and the acting is just plain bad. So here is what Id like to see in the 4th installment.
Spiderman - Emile Hirsch, or an Unknown
Mary Jane Watson - Mary Elizabeth Winstead
The Lizard - Bruce Greenwood
Carnage - Paul Bettany

I totally agree with the whole Black Cat vibe.. It would kind of give the Spider-Man games series' a bit of a kick and kinda actually mean something and the whole thing of someone swinging around the streets of Manhatten with Spidey would be pretty cool. And like you said igloodude11, it would create a much better love triangle. Unless they bring Gwen Stacy back for Spider-Man 4 as Peter's first love was actually Gwen Stacy in the comics..
On the site wikipedia it says that if Sam Raimi returns to direct, he would turn Connors into the Lizard and it also said that he expressed interest in setting up the Sinister Six by introducing the Vulture and Electro and it also says Raimi is also a fan of Morbius, the Living Vampire, citing the "combination of superhero plus supernatural".

vulture would b kinda hard 2 portray cuz since both norman AND harry r dead, than there would b no oscorp. and with no oscorp, vulture's whole backstory would just b completely eliminated.
on the sinister six idea, i dont think it'd be very good at all, and if they even think about putting as a movie, it be the 6th one (seeing as how he said there would only be 6) cuz spiderman would have have to be really fast, cuz usually movies now dont last that long, and he couldnt spend the full time fighting all of them, more or less about a 5-10 min fight with all, and if longer than that, they'd need to cut out some of the running errands for the daily bugle and stuff parts my opinion tho

It was rumoured that Scorpion and King Pin will be revealed during SM4 or 5 as they are planning a Sinister Six deal for Spider-Man 6. I seriously think adding the Black Cat now might be a waste as they need to show a better relationship with MJ and Peter in the 4th film. I would not mind seeing this one based on the rise of the King Pin so that way we have a better understanding in the next with Black Cat being added. Possibly have the villain be Chameleon.
Spiderman 3 was highly disappointing, on just the basis that they're was too much going on and there wasn't a faithful interpretation of Venom. He was on screen for like 8 minutes then that was it. As for the movie itself it was just tedious with the whole love triangle being played for a third run in the film series, it just made Mary J. look like some slut who runs off with anyone who gives her the time of day xD. But yeah i think your ideas are pretty dead-on. I hope Lizard shows up in 4 too.
Also blackcat is a great choise aswell cause in a way kraven might want to hunt her aswell seeing how her symbol is a cat. But i dont agree with chameleon for 3 villains. No one cares about him, hes power is lame and there would be to many villains.
I havnt ever read a comic book before. But i have researched the net for a couple years and i know about nearly every villain and their origens. Plus i used to watch the cartoon all the time. Anyway. i agree with having Lizard and Kraven in the 4th film. connors got a Symbiote sample from peter, he could use it to turn into lizard. as far as Carnage, I really don't see him in spiderman 4, i mean think about it, spiderman movies are mostly family oriented and there is no way you can set up carnage's character in that atmosphere, people will think he's exactly like Venom when he's something entirely different. he should be in the Venom spin-off and it should be R-rated (just like Punisher was)

really? well depending on when his contract was issued, it's probably going to be expired soon since spider-man 1 came out like 6 years ago. but maybe he'll get it renewed. I personally would hate to see a new spider-man because that means they're going to recast EVERY new character, which in turns means yet ANOTHER reboot.
I agree that Carnage is an AWESOME character in Spider-Man and I would love to see him in a future Spider-Man movie. However, if they are seriously considering making a Venom movie, then Carnage is the only villain that Venom can have. If they decide to cancel it though, then yes Carnage should be in there.

I'll have to fix that. personally, I think that mysterio is perfectly fine for the comics and the cartoon, but I'm a bit hesitant about seeing him on the big screen. They would need to do A LOT of costume changes to him. I think that for a movie, you always want to make the villain look intimidating. and aside from his illusions and mysterious character, he really doesn't do that for me.
Don't forget doc oc is dead, he was one of the sinister six right? It'd have to be the... ferocious five.

yeah, doc ock was one of them. but I think that not only are you providing way too many villains if you do the sinister six, you can't just go "oh, he's back from the dead, move on". and as for uniting with lizard, I think that you need to have them equal"ish" in danger. because in Spider-Man 3, Sandman is a great villain in the comics, but he is NO Venom. There they just emphasized him.
I wasn't pleased with venom in 3 - he's supposed to say "we" to show the symbiote has taken over but he says "i" on several occasions... Everything else about that movie was well done though, I can't understand how any fan could be disappointed with it.
And I can't believe it's a three year wait for 4.. I'll have finished Uni by they, and I've not even started yet.

I don't think peter becomes carnage. I know he does in the ultimate spider-man video game but I think that's it. I do agree though that the villains should be beaten in the end, but they shouldn't be introduced near the end either (like how they did venom in SM3)

I don't think so either, Vanderbilt promises no symbiotes so thats good. But the recent rumour about Spider-Man only coming out in 2011??? I hope they continue apon the rumour of Spidey 4 and 5 being shot back to back because otherwise it will be a way to long wait for each Spidey movie. Heck we might even have a Batman trilogy before we reach the 4th Spider-Man.
Spider man 3 was such a let down. Venom was way underplayed. Even if they decided to kill him off they should have put much more of him in the movie i my opinion.

I wouldn't say he hates him, that's just how the movie played out. Theres still a chance they could bring him back. But if it makes you feel better I read somewhere that if Raimi did come back for Spiderman 4 he'd give up creative control.
well in a interview before Spider-man 3, Raimi actually did say he didn't like the character of Venom because he had "little humanity" or something like that. but avi arad was able to convince him. I'm glad that Sam Raimi will still be around for Spider-Man 4 but James Vanderbilt is really focusing on characterization for this one, so it should be pretty good.

Hell no this is how it should go
SM4: Morbius (dies) Shocker (survives) Black Cat (spiderman's partner) and the return of Kingpin (crime boss).
SM5 should be titled Enter Electro. Electro as the only villain for the movie.with Kingpin and Black Cat in it.
SM6: Scorpion and Chameleon with Kingpin,Black Cat,and Nick Fury in the movie too.
I know they are mostly according to cartoons,but it can work

Indeed I am hoping for a green goblin return, green goblin 2 sucked in spiderman 3 he was such a girl.
Hopefully we see some other good villains, but it would awesome to see GG return with a new costume/body suit, and hopefully a purple cape, new pumpkin bombs and glider.

yeah they really botched his character. Venom originally lost his girl, job, apartment, and health because of spiderman. He had every reason to hate him, he was still an asshole but his behavior was more justified/enforced plus he was got ripped, (he used his hatred to weight-lifted like crazy). In the movie he was just a skinny selfish prick, no more.

Now I dont think they should do a total reboot but I do think they need to recast the main characters. I recently watched Spiderman 3 and the acting is just plain bad. So here is what Id like to see in the 4th installment.
Spiderman - Emile Hirsch, or an Unknown
Mary Jane Watson - Mary Elizabeth Winstead
The Lizard - Bruce Greenwood
Carnage - Paul Bettany
So Im thinking Spiderman and the Lizard fight a little then team up against Carnage. This is just off the top of my head.

Personally, I thought there was nothing wrong with Spider-Man 3 at all. Although Venom should've lasted a lot longer. But 6 films would be awesome. I hope they do make 6 films in total to be honest cos it'd be up there with the Star Wars saga then..

I totally agree with the whole Black Cat vibe.. It would kind of give the Spider-Man games series' a bit of a kick and kinda actually mean something and the whole thing of someone swinging around the streets of Manhatten with Spidey would be pretty cool. And like you said igloodude11, it would create a much better love triangle. Unless they bring Gwen Stacy back for Spider-Man 4 as Peter's first love was actually Gwen Stacy in the comics..

on the sinister six idea, i dont think it'd be very good at all, and if they even think about putting as a movie, it be the 6th one (seeing as how he said there would only be 6) cuz spiderman would have have to be really fast, cuz usually movies now dont last that long, and he couldnt spend the full time fighting all of them, more or less about a 5-10 min fight with all, and if longer than that, they'd need to cut out some of the running errands for the daily bugle and stuff parts my opinion tho

It was rumoured that Scorpion and King Pin will be revealed during SM4 or 5 as they are planning a Sinister Six deal for Spider-Man 6. I seriously think adding the Black Cat now might be a waste as they need to show a better relationship with MJ and Peter in the 4th film. I would not mind seeing this one based on the rise of the King Pin so that way we have a better understanding in the next with Black Cat being added. Possibly have the villain be Chameleon.

Spiderman 3 was highly disappointing, on just the basis that they're was too much going on and there wasn't a faithful interpretation of Venom. He was on screen for like 8 minutes then that was it. As for the movie itself it was just tedious with the whole love triangle being played for a third run in the film series, it just made Mary J. look like some slut who runs off with anyone who gives her the time of day xD. But yeah i think your ideas are pretty dead-on. I hope Lizard shows up in 4 too.

I havnt ever read a comic book before. But i have researched the net for a couple years and i know about nearly every villain and their origens. Plus i used to watch the cartoon all the time. Anyway. I think Lizard and kraven are perfect choices and thought about that myself after playing spiderman 3 game, theres a big fight scene involving lizard and kraven and kravens hunting the lizard.

alright 1 thing that is right in front of you that you had to be mentally challenged not to see is that lizard IS going to be in sm4.they should hav not put venom in sm3. cause without venom where does carange fit in all of this,plus there is alot of evidence pointing toward carange is in sm4. but if they had to put venom in sm3 they should of not made eddie brock die. so that way venom might have returned and that way carange could make a seen and that in my opinoin would be a very good.

i agree with having Lizard and Kraven in the 4th film. connors got a Symbiote sample from peter, he could use it to turn into lizard. as far as Carnage, I really don't see him in spiderman 4, i mean think about it, spiderman movies are mostly family oriented and there is no way you can set up carnage's character in that atmosphere, people will think he's exactly like Venom when he's something entirely different. he should be in the Venom spin-off and it should be R-rated (just like Punisher was)

really? well depending on when his contract was issued, it's probably going to be expired soon since spider-man 1 came out like 6 years ago. but maybe he'll get it renewed. I personally would hate to see a new spider-man because that means they're going to recast EVERY new character, which in turns means yet ANOTHER reboot.

I agree that Carnage is an AWESOME character in Spider-Man and I would love to see him in a future Spider-Man movie. However, if they are seriously considering making a Venom movie, then Carnage is the only villain that Venom can have. If they decide to cancel it though, then yes Carnage should be in there.

I'll have to fix that. personally, I think that mysterio is perfectly fine for the comics and the cartoon, but I'm a bit hesitant about seeing him on the big screen. They would need to do A LOT of costume changes to him. I think that for a movie, you always want to make the villain look intimidating. and aside from his illusions and mysterious character, he really doesn't do that for me.

yeah, doc ock was one of them. but I think that not only are you providing way too many villains if you do the sinister six, you can't just go "oh, he's back from the dead, move on". and as for uniting with lizard, I think that you need to have them equal"ish" in danger. because in Spider-Man 3, Sandman is a great villain in the comics, but he is NO Venom. There they just emphasized him.

I wasn't pleased with venom in 3 - he's supposed to say "we" to show the symbiote has taken over but he says "i" on several occasions... Everything else about that movie was well done though, I can't understand how any fan could be disappointed with it.
And I can't believe it's a three year wait for 4.. I'll have finished Uni by they, and I've not even started yet.

I don't think peter becomes carnage. I know he does in the ultimate spider-man video game but I think that's it. I do agree though that the villains should be beaten in the end, but they shouldn't be introduced near the end either (like how they did venom in SM3)

I don't think so either, Vanderbilt promises no symbiotes so thats good. But the recent rumour about Spider-Man only coming out in 2011??? I hope they continue apon the rumour of Spidey 4 and 5 being shot back to back because otherwise it will be a way to long wait for each Spidey movie. Heck we might even have a Batman trilogy before we reach the 4th Spider-Man.

well in a interview before Spider-man 3, Raimi actually did say he didn't like the character of Venom because he had "little humanity" or something like that. but avi arad was able to convince him. I'm glad that Sam Raimi will still be around for Spider-Man 4 but James Vanderbilt is really focusing on characterization for this one, so it should be pretty good.
