Jeez - I have had my lab catch birds without even ruffling their feathers - picking up a hard can is NOT going to cause him problems.

If any of you idiots knew anything about labradors, you would know that they don't bite down when they retrieve. They are very careful, they are bread that way so they won't destroy the ducks and other birds they retreive. So shut up, and stop acting like you know everything.
