Shame your toe in the mirky waters of snowboarding didn't come off but you mustn't let that stop you taking up this noble art. There's nothing quite like coming down a snowy mountain, bathed in strong sunshine, and just the sound of the wind whistling past your ears......you, the board and the moment, if you haven't been there then need to do WHATEVER is necessary to get there!
Probably easier on skiis if your learning; but not the same fun dude.
wow! I made it down the hill with you and did not even fall or hit a tree....:) I did try this once in Winter Park, Colorado a few years back...train was delayed 2 hours by a coal train (freight rulz in America :) so we could not get the basic lessons...one of our trio did snow boarding once so he was our instructor :)

If your proficient enough on a board H you can pretty well go anywhere you like; the hard bit is getting the funding! It's your life so live it :)
