Singapore Airlines SQ girl

Back in the 1980's, I had a Singaporean uncle who trained SQ flight attendants. Although I'm American, I've flown SQ round-trip maybe 4 times in my life and I can actually say that the "SQ Girls" are not only very attractive, but also very savvy and smart. I remember as a kid sitting across from the jump seat of one SQ Girl who had the ability to recognize a passenger's home by their accent.

SIA has great flight attendants. In terms of the appearance, body shape....a corset forms a part of every uniform, (well, maybe some get excepted).The girls are just a strong part of the SQ brand. Well trained, good looking, and with a bit of an aura around them. They worked hard to create that. It's effective though, as it defines the airline. You couldn't find anything else that defines any other airline as strongly as the SQ girls.

I KNOW! flying with singapore airlines was so nice! the stewardesses (and stewards, of course) were so friendly, neat and professional! By FAR the BEST cabin crew. It doesnt surprise me that the selection process and the training is so full on, coz the staff really are top notch. :D
