  • So this is how Sci-Fi makes its commercials heh cool

  • wow!

  • it is great! if you like Chinese Ink Animation, welcome to my website(中国水墨CG网) to study and exchange!

  • Can i ask how you created the textures (colours for the ink) and the background? i really want to start making my work look more proffessional and backgrounds and texturing are just my weakest areas, i have no idea why considering they're not that hard to master lol xD

    Thanks :D

  • @kacktustoo

Postproduction tools is what you looking for. for example, i used Autodesk Combustion for this, but you can use Adobe After Effects, Nuke, Digital Fusion, there is a lot of tools of there, you just need to read a little bit about each tool and make your own choice, in this case i just play with lens flares with differents colors and a wave filter for the "water" motion, nothing special but makes the trick :P

  • @elcalvo3d

    Thanks again elcalvo3d :D

  • I will never understand youtube.

First I was watching adobe after effects intros, then it went to Directx 11, then crysis nuke videos, then somehow I was led to particle videos and then This came along.

  • @Megallean

Because all is about Computer Graphics!!!

  • Here is a tutorial :)

    watch?v=7ousath2Mfs

  • good~~

  • what is krakatoa a plugin or softwaree ????

  • OMG, it looked so cool,

i have been trying to do that too,

i got the inky part done, bt my inky part always overlayed the fish,

unlike ur one, where the fish is still clearly noticible in the ink,

how did u manage to do that? did u render out the ink and fish seperately?

cuz when i use krakatoa to render, it only renders out the particles not the polygons,

  • WOW 1 thing how to do it! Where did you get the info on to do it?

  • is krakatoa an plugin for 3ds max? cuz it looks awez00m!

  • is that a fish?

  • Wooooow.. This is awesome

  • Hey can u make somethin like this for me that Spells out like "BliiTz Gaming"?

  • Thx for all your comments, if you like this video you can see a preview of the tutorial result on my channel, tutorial coming soon!!!

  • wow really awsome!!

can i ask how you did the movement of the emitter (speed and motion, where it shoots off then slows down) i assume you linked its path to a line?

reason why i'm asking is i'm going to link the motion of the emiiter to a song for a project in college.

    thanks and again awsome!! (:

  • About the emitter motion, nothing special and NO path constraint, only manual animation keys with slow curves at end to achieve the "slowdown" effect, i'll try to link an emitter to a song, sounds nice for a test, thx for your comments dude!!!

  • I'm darkargasio,that's my new channel..the question is the same,thanks in advance.

  • Yeah, all the animation of particles is FumeFX renedred with Krakatoa...

  • Thank you,I guess you used a lot of particles or a special motion blur setting to get this effect because i see it's different from the other "fume fx+krakatoa"..anyway great job.

  • Thx for your comments, as you said, i used a lot of particles in order to avoid the "grain" look, but no "special" MBlur was used, thx again!!!

  • @elcalvo3d

i've noticed that whenever i render using krakatoa and fumefx the particles always look too sandy and grainy, would you have to increase the paticle number or decrease the particle size etc, to get the more smokey liquid effect you have? thanks (:

  • @kacktustoo

Nothing about particle size, at least i don't know how to change particle size using krakatoa, but you can decrease particle density, using that you can avoid the sandy grainy look, also when you decrease that number you'll need bigger particle count and Mblur can help you a lot on this...

In the new Krakatoa 1.5 you can use VOXEL RENDERING mode instead of particle render to achieve full smoke effect, sorry my english...

  • I use krakatoa but can you give me some information on how you obtained this water ink fx? Did you combined it with fume fx or something similar?what paticle system did you use, particle flow? Please answer, tya.

  • Yeah, all the animation of particles is FumeFX renedred with Krakatoa...

  • Nice... is there some tutorials for Krakatoa or for something like this? Because it looks awesome.

  • wats krakatoa? name of the the effect used or the program?

    thanks

  • Krakatoa is a Particle Render Engine with a lot of amazing utilities for 3DStudio Max.

  • WOW! How can you achieve such effects

    Bravo

  • Really Nice!

  • genial :)

  • esteb muy guapos los 3
