This is what happens when everyone complains about getting more autos. I think Topps numbered the autos to prove a point to the idiots always crying for more autos. Topps basically said here take a bunch of crap autos that aren't worth a penny. You guys are great, keep up the good work.

These are almost higher numbered than 2001 Royal Rookies. At least Topps didn't torture their employees and have them hand number them...

I like this product....who cares if they're high numbered...it's the exact same autograph you would get on a 1/1.

I actually think I know why everything is so high numbered.

Topps can't make any more basketball cards after this, so why shouldn't they put all of their autos in this product? I bet Topps had thousands of auto stickers of these guys sitting around, so why not use them since they won't be making anymore basketball product.
