There it is again, the old melancholy lying deep in the single notes and syllables of the lyrics that only the irish music seems to contain..... at least that is what i feel, when i listen to songs like this one....
This has got to be another Irish folk tune dating back to you know when....anyway my favorite is still the "Orange and the Green" & if not than "We're off to Dublin in the Green", This one gets a passing grade it's just that I don't plan tp play it until such time that I'm given no other choice but to play it, until then I'll contine playing mid stream pop, you know the modern day music. By the way I was brought up to give the polka a listen and dance the polka, now I'm dancin' @ Lady Ga Ga.
