  • PIMPING, PROSTITUTION.

  • Comp Science and Software related jobs are NOT HOT right now. It is being outsourced overseas..... Mechanical and Manufacture related jobs are NOT HOT right now, it is being outsourced overseas.

Aeronautics and Aerospace engineering ? No money for NASA, Boeing is fired thousands of engineers...

Petro/geo eng? oil will finishes soon..

EE/CE ? no that bad, but wait, its just matter of time until Microelectronics industry will be outsourced overseas

    ENGINEERING SUCKS!

  • Thanks for posting this! I am in education but i am more and more thinking of pursuing medicine. It seems like field with good future.

  • Add to the list: lawyer or scientist.

  • what kind of jobs are out there for Math Majors?

  • @JSimm87

    How about a meth major?

  • Nowadays people need to specialize in more than one field. I had a friend who was a respiratory therapist while she was going to school to work as human resources for a company, she did it(respiratory therapist) for sometime before she landed her career working in human resources. You should go to school for whatever it is you want to go to school for, don't be hesitant or scared you just need to work harder. Im gonna be working as a CNA soon but going for my masters in History to be a teacher.

  • sad but true.. i see a whole bunch of business majors graduate and get into jobs that has nothing to do with what they studied for past 4 years!! what's worse? sociology majors / humanities majors are jobless. ..

  • Mathematics, Engineering, computer science, and the medical fields(doctors and nurses) are the main jobs to make money from.

  • @LordOfKnights00

    What about a pimp degree?

  • Sorry but you sound like a retard. You looked up the pay scale for your major after you have graduated, when you should have done that before you even started school.

  • @MrStevieification

You're correct. US possess specific competencies in mfg specific products.

BUT...can these products be sold in HUGE numbers in every country to make HUGE money for Americans in America consistently over a long term basis?

Look at the Koreans (small country), Japan and China.

Just talking about manufacturing TELEVISIONS is sufficient.

THAT'S the kind of product you want to make and sell in HUGE volumes around the world.

  • MILLIONS of Filipino girls with Degrees and Master in Engineering, Accountancy, Law, etc etc ended up jobless for the past few decades....and guess what they BECAME???

MILLIONS of these girls ended up working as immigrant MAIDS in Middle East, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan etc. These girls hate to be maids and think very highly of themselves. Smartasses. Ask any Asian family in Asia who use Filipino maids.

    It's not only your qualifications.

It's your MENTALITY and ATTITUDE in life

  • @menzerna1234

    Ha ha...you lie.

  • @MrStevieification

Farmer boy Stevie..........(LOL)....your good ol USA's MISERY INDEX is at a 28yr HIGH!!!! You numbnuts actually created an Index for measuring the level of misery in society. Hahhaaaa..........

and since you're such an ardent fan of Economics ...the Misery Index was developed by your American economist.

hahaha..you're such a BLINDED American numbnut.

When you hv enough money to fly globally, put on your sunglasses when you peep out from under your flowerpot.

  • In terms of average wages, personal savings, and financial security, America is merely a DEVELOPING COUNTRY.

If you were genuinely a DEVELOPED country, you won't find thousands of YT videos focusing on American poverty and the fucked up education system.

Get out from your flowerpot called the US..........and you'll see how BACKWARD the US is in many aspects of life. Stop living in denial and forcing yourself to think that US is the best in everything.

    17 TRILLION debt, remember, numbnut?

  • In any GENUINE developed country, the above video's TOPIC will never and should never exist.

You're so TRAPPED within the States that you don't realise your education is really FUBAR.

Go out and ask rich Americans living in Singapore with their kids.

Ask Jim Rogers who said that Singapore's education system is way better than the US education system.

hahaha......70% of you jackoffs living in a "superpower" (LOL) don't even have passports.....and we all know your CLASSIC excuse.

  • @MrStevieification

Since you're trying so hard to impress everyone about Economics and how great the US is.........do you understand a budget deficit/national debt of 17 TRILLION???

American numbnut.....your silly country owes 17TRILLION, can't afford to pay, and has raised the debt ceiling to borrow even more. hahahaa......and concurrently, MILLIONS of your numbnut friends are jobless and your economy is in deep shit.

Watch less TV and wake up.

  • @MrStevieification

You don't need to imagine.....the current America is already wayyyyy beyond fucked-up.

When you have 46million living on foodstamps, and millions of homes being lost....."fucked-up" is the only word for that country....and guess what??...it's happening in a nation claiming to be a superpower. HAHAHAAAA........

America is only a MILITARY superpower.

In other aspects...it's only a low-class garbage dump. Look at your MILLIONS of useless jobless Niggers.

  • law...Law...LAW !!!!!

  • Graduated FROM college! He got it wrong.

  • Hey. This guy is totally right. The people that disagree need to really open there eyes. Realize that America might have the highest standard of living, and most wealthy stars, but this country is an economic toilet. In this economic struggle, finding a job is hard to accomplish. A college degree does have it's worth, but only to an extent. This guy does speak truth, as well as cover augmentative topics; but, overall he is correct. Let's just all try to live and learn from other people.

  • @mochafudgetruffle

You mentioned 'gas stations' being manned by immigrants.

Are YOU and your FAMILY MEMBERS willing to work at gas station?????????????????

Oh no...that would be very "low" and embarassing, wouldn't it, American?

You numbnuts always feel you shd get a great job that pays well.....but look at yourselves in the mirror...what is the QUALITY of your education and qualifications?????? How great are you?

hahaha....anyway, those jobs u can't get...the immigrants will get it!

  • @mochafudgetruffle

If ANY person can take/grab any jobs from Americans.....then THAT American is a stupid useless fool.

And there are MILLIONS of such useless Americans in the US.

  • @MrStevieification

Just imagine if 60% of Americans have your kind of mentality.....stubborn and refusing to change. That's why the US is getting from BAD to WORSE......due to people such as you.

You talk too much, and cannot offer any suggestions to improve a country.

  • @menzerna1234 I'm trying to imagine what would happen if 60% of America was as dumb as YOU... Then we'd probably be your country.

  • If your country's BIGGEST and most established car companies have collapsed, and even China doesn't want to buy these junk companies............it confirms that the country's PEOPLE and their mentality are the No1 cause of ALL problems.

You think too highly of yourselves, Americans.

If you were THAT great, the US would not have 46million living on foodstamps, and MILLIONS jobless and fearing of losing jobs.

Problem is....you just DON'T WANT TO ADMIT you're in trouble.

    Self denial.

  • @MrStevieification

Your ignorance and complacency is the PERFECT EXAMPLE why America will never be cost-efficient in ANYTHING.

OMG....you numbnuts can't even make your own Timberland shoes in the US while pricing it competitively.

You really hv to stop giving EXCUSES and start LEARNING from the more cost-efficient countries.

American recalcitrance is the No1 reason why America can't improve.

  • @menzerna1234 You're still not getting it are you? The US doesn't HAVE to make our own shoes cause other countries have a comparative advantage in making apparel. What the US specializes in is highly skilled services like finance and manufacturing of certain products. Since you keep using China as an example, why doesn't China make airplanes? It's cause they don't have the technological resources to specialize in airplanes. Big deal that we don't make Timberlands.

  • @menzerna1234 You pretend that America has nothing to offer in the international market which is so obviously wrong that I am going to assume you have never even opened an economics textbook. It doesn't bother me though. It's you who's left wondering why America is the largest single economy in the world, has one of the highest GDP/capitas and highest standard of living.

  • @menzerna1234 And let me just point out that people who make airplanes get paid more than people who make Timberlands. So which job would you prefer to have? lol

  • to me, engineering is more hardware oriented, give me a scripting language after I take a course on it and I could easily create software from that language, without much of an education at all.

  • Let me just say that there is no guaranteed path to high income for ANY major in college. Unless you went to a top 10 university, you're going to have to work hard to get a great salary in any field you go in. I've known pre-med students who went into business because they couldn't get into a good medical school and I've known business students who ended up working on Wall Street making huge dough. It depends more on how hard you work within your major, than the major itself.

  • @MrStevieification

    You said "hard work"....you're wrong.

Buffaloes and other farm animals work hard.

Rich people work SMART and have connections + plenty of luck.

  • @menzerna1234 Ok. You're right. Working "smart" is better than just simply working "hard". I'll give you that, but let's not argue semantics just for the sake of arguing.

  • @MsRlee101

    CDO: Collateralized Debt Obligation

    CDS: Credit Default Swap.

These are the 2 main financial instruments used mainly by American investment banks to GAMBLE everyday, and resulting in the collapse of America's biggest investment banks.....and after that, the collapse of US economy....and affecting the global economy.

  • @menzerna1234 CDS's are used to manage financial risk you dumbass. They're like insurance for banks. That's FAR from "gambling". It's amazing how you pretend to know things you obviously have not a clue about.

  • @MrStevieification

You're such a silly numbnut American.

Ask any investment banker how CDS was manipulated by the silly Americans tto make huge money.

You certainly sound like a HARD worker.....not a SMART worker.

hahahaaaa.......happy languishing in your financial struggle.

  • @menzerna1234 Sure CDS's contributed to the financial mess, but they are not solely to be blamed. There were many, many other factors at play and they all contributed to the credit market and thus the financial sector getting screwed. What I was saying is that CDS's aren't inherently the problem. CDS's provide a safety net for banks in case of default. They are insurance contracts.

  • @MrStevieification

Even IF Americans are paid more than immigrant specialists.....its because Americans are renowned for always clamoring for higher wages and if they're not satisfied, they go on strike.

Your higher wages are the No1 reason why your American companies close down.....high wages = high cost of production.

You idiots can't even make ONE pc of umbrella, or T shirt at the SAME COSTor lower vs China. You LOSE.

  • @menzerna1234 Uh, no. The amount of American workers covered by collective bargaining is less than 20% and has been declining steadily over the years. And high wages are a result of high output (productivity). The reason why Americans have such high wages is because they are highly skilled due to easy access to high quality college education. They can then spend their time working on more complicated tasks and thus increase productivity for the company.

  • @menzerna1234 And to address your last point. The reason why the US doesn't specialize in clothing is because we don't have a comparative advantage in labor like China or India does. In other words, labor is much cheaper there, due to lower skill levels in the work force and the shear supply of workers. But ask yourself this: Why doesn't China specialize in financial services? It's because they don't have a comparative advantage in highly skilled services like we do.

  • just be a human connonball , you will probally make more from ticket sales.

  • Yeah, I like having a leg.

  • I would add Business to your list, but otherwise I agree with you. Most majors are useless for the job market

  • @MrStevieification

When American employers are desperately seeking new recruits, they are 'firefighting" and when you're fighting a fire, you need EXPERIENCED people with the correct qualifications, and they're expected to START WORK asap......there's no time to slowly coach and train that person.

That is the time when you need the highly-qualified, hardworking, tenacious and highly adaptable IMMIGRANTS/EXPATRIATES from other countries.....these are the QUALITY people who gets THINGS DONE.

  • @menzerna1234 What makes you think immigrant workers are more productive and experienced than American workers?

  • @MrStevieification

Immigrant corporate workers are certainly more productive than Americans.

Spoilt Americans are forever clamouring for shorter hours, better conditions, better benefits, and want to enjoy life. Americans still want the EASY way out....look at your Americans' enthusiasm in Psychology and Sociology!! LOL!!!

Non-Americans are willing to work longer, more tenaciously, complain less and just produce better results.

Ask the HR div in your BIGGEST companies. Try Siemens.

  • Comment removed

  • @menzerna1234 You're making a stupid claim that is not supported by economic research. If foreign workers were more productive, they would get paid more. Plain and simple. You don't know a damn thing about economics bro. And if every American only studied Psychology and Sociology, why are we leaders in areas like Financial services, Economic research, Mathematics?

  • @MrStevieification

Look at your NASA.....in their R&D areas requiring special expertise, they have loads of immigrant specialist employees from India and China. Go to NASA and see for yourself.

Buy you'll hv to save up for that long bus trip from Idaho. hahahahaaaaa.........

  • @menzerna1234 NASA recruits engineers/scientists from the top universities. Which means they recruit from American universities. Even if they do have "immigrant specialists" working there its because they went to MIT or some other highly technical and prestigious American university. Look at the top ranked universities in the world. Most of the top 10 are American. And nice try, but I don't even live in Idaho.

  • @MrStevieification

Oh yes....of course every American will say they hv a passport and have visited every country. hahahaaa.....you're such a joke.

  • @menzerna1234 That's cause I do have a passport. Looks like the jokes on you man. And I never said I've been to every county. I said several. I've seen all of North America, and a few countries in Asia.

  • @BrulesRules001

A Degree in Accounting sounds great, and is certainly great.

But it also depends on which university you got it from.

For a universally-recognised, highly prestigious Accounting qualification that's highly attractive to multinational corporate employers.......ACCA and/or CIMA. You'll never go wrong with these 2 babies.....or the Rolls Royce of them all.....ICAEW.

I'm 100% sure most Americans will be googling this....and it shows how ignorant and deprived you all are.

  • @menzerna0000 you forgot the most obvious CPA qualification.... just shows how ignorant YOU are lol

  • @MrStevieification

    hahahaaa...ignorant???

Do you have a passport, silly American??

70% of you idiots in the US don't even hv passports.

    THAT'S IGNORANCE.

  • @menzerna1234 So it's ignorant to not have a passport? I have a passport and have been to several different countries and it's only made me enjoy living in the US even more.

  • well, if so many immigrants weren't stealing our jobs....

  • @mochafudgetruffle

Immigrants are not stealing your jobs.

You are NOT GOOD ENOUGH to get those jobs.

  • @mochafudgetruffle

If someone can STEAL your job.....it confirms how useless and incompetent you are.

  • @mochafudgetruffle

    Don't blame the immigrants...THANK THEM.

These immigrants have prestigious qualifications that American employers are SEEKING. These are the qualifications, skills and experience that's RELEVANT in specific American industries desperately seeking new employees.

You won't find many hi-quality Asians coming to US with a silly Degree or Masters in Psychology, Anthropology or Sociology. These are the Asians with the correct "weapons load" to do a specific kind of job.

  • @menzerna0000 That is not true. Plenty of immigrants are taking jobs from Americans on HB-1 Visas that are in non-technical fields, such as marketing. In fact, most of the people who work at gas stations in my area are from middle eastern countries and they speak no English at all. They should not be here, taking these jobs from Americans.

  • @mochafudgetruffle . I might also add, that if someone can't speak English correctly they shouldn't get jobs at all here. Period. Most of these immigrants either don't speak English well, or have such clipped accents that nobody can understand a word they say. That's called "poor communication skills". They also hate Americans and bring that attitude into the workplace.

  • You missed a degree that is worth while: Accounting! But yeah most degress are a waste of money.

  • maybe you should invest in some English speaking classes. DURRRRRRRR good grammar bro

  • @celetentefan223 thanx 4 the advise, i am planing to get an ascosiates in electrical engeniering too, my intension is to learn the skills necessary to build stuff a car, bike, ship ect. since u already have an associates in mt can you tell me what the big difference is between a bachelors and an associates in mechanical engineering?

  • Although i respect your opinion, I am currently studying International Business and I believe it to be very attractive to multinational corporations

  • @HotCyberShot

Int Business is certainly great but NOT applicable when youre getting FIRST job.

In the high powered corpoate world, no one is going to let a raw recruit jump straight into cross border business unless you hv prior experience.

Once you ropes of the business, and you've proven yourself, you might be posted to overseas, such as myself, and when that time comes, your Int Business Degree will certainly come in handy.

  • @menzerna1234 yeah but thats why im trying my hardest to get overseas work experience. This summer im working at Walt Disney World for a few months, then im studying abroad for a year somewhere in America, maybe Eckerd, Cali state east bay or whitworth. Then off to Melbourne to work for a year.= lots of planning and stress

  • you forgot "lawyer."

  • @skeet42488 I think he's referring to undergraduate degrees only. So JD doesn't count

  • @Syntax4500

You did the correct thing by going into CS.

Always remember this.....if you wanna make HUGE money in CS, and you wanna enjoy flexible working hours and spend quality time with your family, you MUST look into becoming an SAP Consultant.

Big corporations are mostly running on SAP, and any IT work related to SAP is bound to make you loads of money.

  • When you're Young, Dumb and Full of Cum...it's "cool" to do whatever stuff that makes you "happy"....even if money is short. You're living in a fake American fantasy.

But, once you have a family, and your braincells have fully developed, and you hv financial commitments to bring up a family in a matured, high-quality and responsible manner, you'll realise that money is EVERYTHING.

Your "happiness" and 'freedom" can't pay your bills and mortgages.

    Wake up, Americans.

  • @menzerna1234 what the hell are you talking about? most Americans dream of making money. That's why we are the largest economy in the world. Wake up man/woman/whoever the hell you think you are.

  • Sample size=1

  • @yourvidisbad101

Of course MONEY is the ultimate happiness.

Without money, you'd be living in a shitty pllace, eating shitty food, cant afford to buy the nice things in life, and languishing in squalor till you die.

U sound like a useless white fuck flipping burgers at the diner for 6 mths to save money for your Peruvian mountain climbing trip that lasts 4mths, and after that, you'd be flipping burgers again to save up for your exploration of the intricacies of the Hindu culture in Nepal.

  • Like if you made the right choice.....the engineering choice.

  • look man I get it but perhaps college is not really meant to be the kind of place one goes to find a job... if you want a job go to a trade school. The middle class is for simple folk anyway... cant have a bunch of thinking individuals walking around in an American society.... just bad for business is all.

  • engineers and pre med? Arabic studies- heyooo undergrad sophomore and I already got my internship in Dubai next summer muthafukkaaaa

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, you can go get a cush bullshit job as a School Consular with your pyshchology degree making $80k a year with govt benefits and get 3 months vacation every year!! What's the matter with you??. You dont want to be an engineer, it's stressful and all those jobs have been sent to China & India, and as soon as your project is done your going to get laidoff anyway.

  • @MultiOccult you see, that is why all your messages are getting flagged as spam.

  • Computer Science and Engineering FTW! :)

  • Hah. Why are people so focuses on degrees? Let's think now. You want money so you can be happy, right? And if the job you do does not make you happy, then what? If you like psychology, then you ought to pursue it, regardless of how much money it entails, for money cannot buy happiness. Of course, it can make your unhappy life slightly more comfortable, but an unhappy man with money quite simply is just that: an unhappy man with money.

  • @yourvidisbad101 in other words worthless fucks will always be worthless fucks.

  • @CeletenteFan223 No, one becomes a "worthless fuck" when they start to pursue money as their main source of happiness.

  • I Concur. Medical and Engineering are the only degrees worth going to college for.

Also, I have more money than the US government, and so does everyone else loool nobody owes $15 trillion...

  • @mascarian Well you don't have more CASH than the US but your net worth is probably higher lol

  • Thank you so much for making this video.

  • Dude I just started college 4 days ago Im going for an associates in MECHANICAL ENGENIERING too, I got pissed cause i have to take 6 electives, so im preety much forced to take spycologi, like wtf why do i need to take spycology am i going to be a spycologist?

it has nothing to do whit my field, and my friend is like go for a bachelors, like why so my employer can verify i took more useless electives, electives are a scam. dude im glad i did some serious thinking before i started college ^ ^

  • @hap1meal let make explan why they have you take electives, because by taking those classes you may discover that tthey interest you more than your major. I have an ASS degree in mech engineering myself, my advice to you is to get into drafting, take those 4-5 classes, take Physics101, an applied engineering class where you learn about gears & stuff, maybe a basic construction class, then find a job as a drafter, get in the work force and then decide which major to persue.

  • @hap1meal Well electives and general education are meant to broaden your intellectual horizons to more than just engineering. That's one of the points of having an academic degree.

  • Good luck, sounds like you are on the right track.

  • I graduated in 95 with a computer science degree. Had a paying job in my major 2years before I graduated, but computers were very popular back the. Had to know how to build them, repaire them, troublshoot them, teach, and program them. Still have my job, pays well. U r right, entering is the way to go, just see what is popular right now, and major in that. Good video.

  • Comment removed

  • I have friends with liberal arts degrees who are doing well. I think you're making some generalizations that won't pan out under closer scrutiny. The thing with engineers is that they're vulnerable to being laid off down the road because US engineers can't really match foreign competition. Your friends who study business, which is a much better major IMO, can further explain why it's in the interest of corporations to slash your salary and replace you with cheap foreign labor.

  • Im a math tutor & I love math, but I have no Idea what I can do with it! I don't want to be a teacher. Can anyone suggest any careers?

  • @TeeEye84Plus

If you want a HIGH PAYING career that focuses strongly on Maths.....and if you like Add Maths, why not pursue Actuarial Science? Yes, you're an Actuarist.

That means, you'll be working a VERY HIGH SALARIED job with Insurance companies, and you'll work out the insurance premiums that people must pay, based on probabilities (accidents, deaths etc).

  • @TeeEye84Plus Become an Actuary. It is consistently ranked as one of the best jobs in America: high salary, normal working hours, low stress environment, etc. If you majored in math then you can qualify. I'm studying to become an actuary myself so if you want to know more about the profession just PM me and I'll tell you a little more about it.

  • @MrStevieification Ok I will please message me. I have talked to some of my professors who were actuaries. Pleas let me know the classes you are taking thanks

  • You don't really need great qualifications in the US now. It's quite useless....as you can already see.

All you need is a PASSPORT, some savings, and to get the hell outta that shit hole 3rd world country.

  • @menzerna0000 God. stfu and gtfo this message board. Your comments are being marked as spam cause they are anti-American. No one cares about the fact that you hate Americans. Maybe you're jealous that even with all of our debt and stagnating unemployment rates we're still doing better than most of the world.

  • @DreamINfiniteMoment

In a highly fucked-up economy within a 3rd world nation (the USA) plagued by huge debts, recession, massive unemployment and never ending financial worries............you have ONLY 1 choice to survive.....FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Money is EVERYTHING in the US now.

Without MONEY, your silly American Dream is just a fantasy.

Target to work in those industries that can make GREAT money.

You don't wanna work in Harley Davidson, do you, silly Americans?

  • Ignorant Americans always think that US is the best and seeks only to work within the US.

But face the facts.....it's difficult to get a great job in the US now, and most of you complain endlessly about the low salaries.

Get a degree in a non-Arts field, get yourselves a passport (LOL) and start going overseas for jobs. Look and Admire how the highly educated ones in Singapore, Hong Kong and other fantastic countries enjoy their lifes.......and you'll be shocked how you've been languishing

  • Many ignorant Americans have this fantasy and admiration for the 'lucky few" who make great money without much education. But CAN you be one of 'em??? Can you be a hippy, and then transform into a multibillionaire such as Steve Jobs???

Americans dream too much, due to lack of actual exposure to the world OUTSIDE the US.

No passports, and no money to travel.

Get a PROPER education and seek to work OVERSEAS with better pay, more job security, and a much better life.

    But u guys are STUCK

  • @menzerna0000 So if someone doesn't have a major that you approve of, it means that they aren't working and want to hit a jackpot? Don't you think it would be even harder to preserver in a field, like the arts, that has even keener competition and fewer job openings? These people have to really master their craft - it doesn't happen overnight.

I think you can't be serious with your comments because I can't believe anyone is really this thoughtless...

  • TRUTH! I have a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice.. <after what I know now that statement sounds like a joke. DON'T GO TO COLLEGE UNLESS IT'S FOR THE MEDICAL OR ENGINEERING FIELD. Law school is my only hope for a job that is actually in demand and paying.

  • @CJLabay1

    hey...Legal Studies is GREAT!

Even greater is when you are posted to overseas, and you get to work in he Legal dept of some huge banks or multinational. Great!

  • @CJLabay1

With the large influx of law graduates, very few law jobs are available, meaning that most current law school graduates are unemployed right now. Even if you get a law degree, you will be earning much less compared to graduates in the prior two decades.

  • no love for pharmacy?

  • You forgot law and mathematics based programs.

  • Most any STEM field will require a minimum of a four year degree to be considered for employment. In addition STEM fields require a variety of certificates, many of which require years of math (thru Calc) physics, Chemistry (thru Ochem) training you only get in college.

  • @aliceandthecatt Indeed. Another advantage of the so-called STEM subjects is that they can't be tainted with political ideology in the same sense that the social sciences and humanities are. On the other hand, professors in those fields often assign shitty text books, and might try to make students feel stupid if they ask for help. Thus, one must spend a significant amount of time looking for high quality, readable books in order to succeed in those areas. Might be worth it tho.

  • I think this is only half right. Some people go to school for things and end up doing something else. Also, art schools are very great for people who are into those things. People who take up art generate the most revenue out of any other major. people have to find their niche however.

  • During the good days, when the US was in great shape, there was no serious demand for new people in manufacturing and productive industries. But now, the US is in deep shit.....and seriously need people with qualifications in mgmt, manufacturing, IT, engineering, accountancy, corp finance etc.

Now is the time to stop dreaming about psychology, philosophy and other Arts stuff.

Its time for you to GROW UP and learn from te Asians.....making REAL money and achieving financial security.

  • The highest paying sectors globally, coupled with the highest job security are mainly the Oil and Gas industry, and the more specialised IT industries such as SAP.

  • Any teen would not have worked before in a proper, real and huge multinational. Therefore, the advice/inspiration/guidance he/she obtains are MAINLY from other friends, parents, councillors etc. Dangerously, he individual could hv made the decision without consulting anyone, and even worse, obtain info from other IGNORANT IMBECILES.

Ask only those who're highly qualified and have worked in huge multinationals, possess passports and who've worked overseas.

  • @b0ondockz

You're 100% correct. If the majority of ignorant American teens shared your mentality, America would be in MUCH better shape.

  • Sooooooo i shouldn't go for my BA in philosophy?

  • @wildabeast11235

You can go for your fantasy BA in Philosophy......if you have an ASSURED method and connections thag guarantees a a REAL job that pays a GREAT salary that ensures financial security. but too bad.......most Americans dont have that kind of connections.

So, its better to be pragmatic and realistic, and stop those childish American delusions.

  • I am a music Ed. major in college right now... and where music is heading... band, orchestra, and choir is being pushed away from everywhere. Music today is different from what it was 50 years ago. I am in the safer part of music majors but its still going to be hard... in fact no field is easy to "get a well paid job" you have to work for it... plan and simple... thats my opinion.

  • Wtf theres a lot more than engineering and medicine! I'm planning on getting into psychology, you just gotta have the balls to go all the way (Ph.D) and you gotta make good connections. Plus the number psych careers is supposed to increase over the next few years. Just because a major isnt engineering or med doesnt mean its totally useless, don't be so narrow minded people!!!

  • I'm a mechanical engineering major! :D tough stuff, but worth it in the end

  • @Sephiirah

you have made an intelligent choice. this is the kind of qualification that'll get you jobs that CONTRIBUTE directly to the production of goods/products, that'll ultimately DRIVE the economy. Too bad many silly Americans like he LAZY way out by choosing Arts, nd end up struggling their entire life.

  • @menzerna1234 they don't call it "starving artist" for nothing lol I like art and photography, but it's a hobby not a career path! :)

  • I wouldnt say the ONLY things worth going to college for are a doctor or engineer, but you're on the right track. I'd say most things having to do with healthcare including doctor, nurse, PA, x-ray tech, dentist, occupational therapist, etc. Then there is engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems. I'd also say a business degree with a specialization in accounting, or just a plain accounting degree is worth it. Unfortunately that's just the way it is right now.

  • You should be a college administrator, we need more people to stand up and tell the truth rather than the traditional ''oh, choose what you like'' B.S.

  • I did not go to college until I was 24 years of age; I opened a retail business at the age of 20. I dropped out of High School in the 9th grade after being behind by two years. Success does not mean obtaining a college degree. Now I am a successful investor trading my personal capital on the foreign exchange market making on an average of $20,000 a month at the age of 26. :) A college degree nets you$1,000,000 more in your lifetime; as if that is alot of money for the time of being a debt slave.

  • @MultiOccult you're lucky

  • @MultiOccult yeah, it's real easy to get on the internet and lie about your life and live in a fantasy land as you live in our parents basement. Do you have a fantasy car & mansion too?

  • @CeletenteFan223 I do not want a fantasy car & a fantasy mansion. They are not worth the investment in my eyes. Sorry but the people who have money live below their means. They do not show their money. I do not know where you come of as if wealth equals luxury items. I have not and will never buy luxury items, LoL

  • Petroleum engineering is also excellent in terms of pay, but the hours are worst that surgeons! Only do it if you love oil!

  • @ShihafeleniHauwanga HAHA I used to love oil but I found it wasnt very good for your skin in the future...worked as a Hydraulic Mechanic and getting sprayed everyday just wasnt to fun lol

  • Accounting, finance, mathematics, (you'll be doing engineering or CS stuff), healthcare (just remember the hours suck and people are much more disgusting than you'd imagine), marketing (you'll have to live in a major city, though), and any major that you couple with prelaw if you can get into a top ten law school.

P.S. CS is probably your best bet if you're not going to med school. Engineering is nice, but you can't get the same level of experience as you can in CS due to open source.

  • Did you take any pre med or pre law classes? If you did then you can go into medical school or law school. You can have better careers choices with that degree

  • I knew computer programming was a good idea

  • you are tripping, The key is to do internships and jobs along the way. Ofcourse, if you just go to class and try to get good grades in your major, you're not going to get a good job

  • @Godiscompassion He is tripping isn't he? He can do so much more with that degree. He should have double has a pre law or pre med student as well. If he done that he can go into law school or gone into medical school. You are right going to class and not doing anything else is not going to get him anywhere

  • Your forgetting degrees in business and finance, accounting especially pays extremely well.

  • @nmorse44

You kind of beat me to the punch, I was gonna throw in accounting and maybe finance. If you get an accounting degree with pretty good grades and be in a position to sit for the CPA, especially in a large metro area, you'll be in a good position to find life security. Finance is good, but 9 times out of 10(at least form my observation), you'll be a glorified salesman, with the degree being a mere formality(that you have to have). Two others that I can think....to be continued

  • @nmorse44....continued.... of off-hand are math(but you have to pass actuarial exams) and physics with a minor in geology(or visa-versa), or if your school offers it, geophysics......oh and Nursing(RN/BSN)....the common thread being STEM fields, even accounting/finance has certain stem aspects to it

  • Thank you for this video. What do you think about someone studying to be a language interpreter?

  • This video simply proves.....when a HIGH QUALITY Asian from a high-quality upbringing gives you advice...you'd better sit up and listen. I know it sounds harsh. But with 70% Americans not having passports, you guys are TRAPPED, and learn the wrong things from each other for GENERATIONS.....eg: that's how most of u love Psychology and other Arts subjects thinking its so cool.

So, when an Asian American speaks his mind, he offers a fresh perspective on things, and he MIGHT be correct.

  • @menzerna1234 I would not consider following the trail of money in what u do with your education as a fresh perspective. If anything, it is probably the most common one. Success can exist inside "the box" or outside of it, with one's personality and character as a human being being the most dynamic tool for achieving it. Of course u can go where the path to monetary gain is more direct, but make no mistake about it, it is not about what degree u get but what u do with it and who u r that counts.

  • @menzerna1234 I was just thinking sort of the same thing in that the other races often have fucked up trans generational behaviors and beliefs. Foreign born blacks do better than domestic ones, for example, and I can't express the negative energy that being raised in a highly religious family has brought upon my life...like a stake in the heart and a wedge in my mind it's impossible to be on the same plane when they have such antiquated and narrow minds, it's poisonous.

  • @menzerna1234 that;s a racist statement

  • @CeletenteFan223

Racist statements are cringed upon only by Americans in America pretending to be politically correct. I'm no longer in the US, and so, i hv stopped playing the "urrrgggh...that's racist" game.

    Niggers are Niggers.

If you're not a Nigger, you have no reason to be offended.

Similarly, if you're not gay, why do you explode with anger when someone calls you a Faggot???
