Why is this Silat Grandmaster, doing a demo in a wedding ceremony? I thought this is usually only done by lower level practitioners and not the Grandmaster himself. Its surprising to see a Grandmaster freely willing to show his movements, especially in a wedding crowd full of children.

Its surprising to see that most Malaysian Silat videos on youtube are done like circus act performances in weddings only. As amusements to the very old or the very young children.

When someone gets married in a wedding ceremony ('bersanding') the married couple becomes a 'king for a day', has a respect for the 'royatly' they perform the silat performance as a respect like presented to a royal couple- one time in the couples life.
